In this paper, two research methods of literature history and phonetic analysis are used to analyze and study the nature and evolution of the phonetic system of Kunqu Opera.Combining with the actual phonetic analysis of modern and contemporary Kunqu Opera, this paper puts forward the analysis of phonetic evidence for the argument of "Nanyin" and "Fangyin" which have been existing in the phonetic problems of Kunqu Opera. It shows that the nature of the pronunciation of Kunqu Opera is a normal sound system inherited from the poetic rhyme.Although it is influenced by the local phonetics to a certain extent in the historical evolution, the general trend of its evolution is still based on the "correct pronunciation".Combined with the actual phonetic materials and literature review, this paper discusses the initial system, vowel system, voiced initials,yin-yang eight tones and entering tone. Therefore,in view of the complex phonetic situation on the stage of Kunqu Opera,it is proposed that the evolution of Kunqu's voice has never stopped, and any attempt to stop its change and development is unrealistic. Therefore, there are many practical problems in the establishment of certain fixed speech standards.Language itself is a tool for human communication.Communication is its fundamental purpose. As a stage art, communication is also the first priority. The preservation of the pronunciation of Kunqu Opera also needs to grasp the balance between "change" and "invariance" of non idiosyncratic cultural heritage.Through the in-depth and detailed analysis of the voice of Kunqu Opera, this paper clarifies the fundamental nature of the voice of Kunqu Opera: is it a southern sound or a "normal tone".The conclusion is as follows: first, the nature of the phonetic system of Kunqu Opera is basically a continuation of the phonetic tradition of "Zhengyin" in middle ancient Chinese, that is,the development of common language since Qieyun in Tang Dynasty.Secondly, the nature of the phonetic system of Kunqu Opera is a continuous countercurrent regression of "Zhengyin".Thirdly, although the fundamental nature of the phonetic system of Kunqu Opera is "Zhengyin",because it has been popularin Wu for a long time, most of the actors are from the southern region. Therefore,we must also see the influence of Wu language in the pronunciation of Kunqu Opera. Therefore, the evolution of Kunqu dialect is also objective. But we can not judge the phonetic system as Wu language system because of these influences.Fourthly, the standard of Kunqu's phonetic system is dynamic.Fifthly, the primary task of Kun Opera voice is to serve the stage performance. Therefore, the development of Kunqu music is one of the most important factors determining the phonetic standard of Kunqu Opera. In the process of research, the research and analysis of the modern Kunqu pronunciation is the first systematic and scientific phonetic analysis of Yu Zhenfei's phonetic system. The purpose of this analysis in this paper is to illustrate the phonetic nature and change trend of Kunqu Opera in modern times through the most intuitive phonetic evidence. And objectively,it also hopes to provide some phonetic materials for later researchers for further research. For the discussion and analysis of the nature of the voice of Kunqu Opera,we hope that it can provide some reference ideas for the current complex voice on the stage of Kunqu Opera.
