Zheng Zhen, "said The Text Attached Test Study

Zheng Zhen's "Shuo Wen Xin Fu Kao" is one of the academic achievements in the Qing Dynasty "Shuo Wen Xue", and it is an important reference book to probe into ancient writing and study Xin Fu Zi . Zheng Zhen pays tribute to the research and development of "Shuo Wen Xue". However, people not only wrote few monographs and papers about it, but also didn't discuss totally or affirm it fully. We try analysing completely and evaluating justly it from five respects.In the introduction part, we have a brief account including Zheng Zhen's life, academic achievements, evaluation and edition. In the second chapter "the aim and motive of compilation", in our opinion, the main aim is that Zheng Zhen hopes to resume the simple style of study and carry on Xu Zheng Confucianism. In addition, collating "Shuo Wen", resuming its original shape, correcting Niu Shu yu's mistakes are also the important causes. The style of this article is one of research contents . We will discuss it from two respects: the general style and terms . "The contents of caption" is the focal point of this article. It consists of six sections: discriminating Yi Zi, investigating accient writing before the Qin Dynasty, pointing out the characters of dialects and the name of strange objects which aren't included in "Shuo Wen" judging the age of Xin Fu Zi, correcting Xu Kai and Niu Shu yu's mistakes. At last, we will discuss the contributions to "Shuo Wen Xue" from three respects: on the pratical plane, it provides the succeed learners with full and accurate research data; on the theoretical plane, it explains the nature of Xin Fu Zi scientifically and pays attention to dialects and common characters; on the means plane, it carries forward the good way of "Qian Jia School" and develops it. "Shuo Wen Xin Fu Kao" offers many scientific ways to direct us.In the end, we think there are also some mistakes in "Shuo Wen Xin Fu Kao". For example, it sticks to "Xu Xue" and rigidly adheres to phoneme. But these can't affect the whole value of the work . Because of the era and surroundings, it can't be avoided to make mistakes. We shouldn't criticize it excessively.
