The comparative study of morphology between Mongolian and Korean is the first academic achievement to systematically compare the morphological components of the two languages from the perspective of morphology and based on the theory and method of historical comparative linguistics.Previous studies mostly focused on the comparative study of Mongolian and Korean with other Altaic languages,or on the comparative analysis of Mongolian and Korean from a synchronic perspective. However, there is a lack of systematic comparative studies on the two languages. Therefore,I choose Mongolian and Korean as the research obj ects, fully refer to and make use of the existing research results, pay attention to the use of historical documents and dialect materials, and conduct a comprehensive description of Mongolian and Korean morphology and a more in-depth comparative study. This paper is composed of introduction, text(three chapters),summary, reference and so on.In the introduction part, the predecessor’s research, the reasons for choosing the topic, the research theories and methods, the purpose and significance of the research,as well as the sources and utilization of the materials are briefly described. The first chapter mainly compares and analyses the noun suffixes in Mongolian and Korean, and on this basis, annotates the common components one by one.Chapter two mainly makes a comparative study of the morphological changes of verbs in Mongolian and Korean, and tries to explore the homologous elements between Mongolian and Korean.Chapter three briefly describes the word-formation methods of Mongolian and Korean, emphatically studies the affix word-formation method and phonetic alternation method, and compares the common word-formation affixes of Mongolian and Korean. The conclusion summarizes the comparative common grammatical components in this paper, and briefly describes the structure and source of these components. Finally,it summarizes the phonetic correspondence between Mongolian and Korean in the grammatical components.
