| Nowadays,industrial revolution,technological revolution and information revolution not only bring unparalleled economic benefits to human society,but also push mankind to the edge of ecological disaster.Faced with frequent ecological disasters and the "industrial civilization syndrome" that swept the world,mankind began to transition to the stage of awakening ecological civilization.At this time,literary and art workers in different fields presented their individual reflections in their own forms.Jacques Perrin is such an extraordinary documentary-nature master.The tentacles of the theory always extend to reality.The writing of this thesis is based on the following two questions: First,although Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries have caused profound ecological reflection in human society,there is still a comprehensive study on this issue;Second,the theoretical aphasia of natural documentaries from the perspective of ecological aesthetics.This thesis focuses on the audio-visual texts of Jacques Perrin’s "Three Nature Documentaries"---Microcosmos: Le peuple de l’herbe,Le peuple migrateur and Oceans,through the use of aesthetics,ecology,communication,drama and film studies and other related theories,and with the help of "the case study method",this paper builds multidimensional and interdisciplinary research model,and focuses on the deep ecological implication and humanistic view in his documentaries.This thesis takes the origin of Jacques Perrin’s ecological utopia,the style of Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries from the perspective of ecological aesthetics,and the interpretation of the value of Jacques Perrin and his works as the basic framework.The first chapter briefly expounds the social and cultural background,the economic and political background,the value of the times and the theoretical significance of ecological aesthetics as a new cross-discipline in the new period of active exploration and transformation of contemporary aesthetics.Through the analysis,this thesis draws three important reasons for the birth and rise of ecological aesthetics: its external causes are the specific needs of human beings caused by natural destruction,the internal reason is the interdisciplinary construction of modernity disciplines,and the fundamental reason is the cultural transformation of aesthetics in the new century and the change of contemporary aesthetic concept.Through the exploration of the origin of ecological aesthetics,the second chapter of the thesis further analyzes the influence of ecological aesthetic theory on documentary creation,that is,the evolution and opening-up of the ecological implication of documentary-nature,so as to make clear the propagation value,the practical significance and the ecological implication of documentary-nature in the era of ecological civilization.At the same time,this thesis believes that the origin of documentary-nature originated from the requirements of the era of ecological civilization.Through the traceability of the scientific and technological promotion,social background and humanistic needs of the documentary birth period,it can be explained: the birth of any new art form or the transformation of cultural direction are in line with the times.The third chapter explores the causes of the formation of Jacques Perrin’s ecological utopia by qualitative research paradigm from the two dimensions of internal factors and external environmental factors.First of all,the thesis attempts to explore the psychological motivation of Jacques Perrin’s outstanding achievements in the field of documentary-nature through an orderly analysis of his growing experience:Jacques Perrin was born in France,which was occupied by Germans during the Second World War.The arduous post-war reconstruction of the Parisian people and the artistic enlightenment of Comédie-Fran?aise shaped the dual character of Jacques Perrin in his childhood.The artistic family atmosphere of the family has made him a different artistic temperament.He is quick-minded,good at imitating,and constantly breaks through the boundaries of his actor profession.According to Hegel’s theory "Evil is the original motivation of all",the contrast between Jacques Perrin’s ideal life and the real world is his source of power into the field of documentary-nature.The "revolution" is the greatest spiritual wealth brought to the Jacques Perrin by the New Wave movie movement,and also the basic tenet of his life creation.In 1895,the film was born in France in the prototype of the documentary,and since the day of birth,the documentary has been prosperous in the free and romantic French land.Although today’s Paris loses its status as a world art center,the romantic legacy still makes Jacques Perrin focus on the beauty of nature and the beauty of art.Therefore,it is obvious that Jacques Perrin,who has many titles,finally chose to say goodbye as a documentary-nature producer and director,this is an account of the family identity of the literary and artistic genes,and it is also a comfort to the hot land of France.Secondly,the thesis analyzes the impact of western ecological aesthetic theory on Jacques Perrin documentary creation from the perspective of external theoretical environment.There is a source of water,so its flow is not poor;trees have roots,so its life is not poor.Looking for the roots,only the roots of the ecological thoughts that nourish nature documentaries can be found,and theoretical research will have a long-term development.In the domestic research on Jacques Perrin,why do scholars use the words "poetic" and "homeland" to describe the utopian world created by Jacques Perrin? Through the exploration of the formation process of Martin Heidegger’s ecological aesthetics,We got the answer: Jacques Perrin is the practitioner of Heidegger’s ecological aesthetics.At the same time,the original poetic thinking of Giovanni Battista Vico and the natural aesthetics of George Santayana also provide a rich supply for the formation of contemporary ecological aesthetics.These ecological aesthetic theories from the West not only formed and enriched the contemporary ecological ontology aesthetics,but also directly influenced the French literary thoughts,and indirectly influenced the formation of the Jacques Perrin ecological view.Through the analysis of Jacques Perrin’s nature documentaries,we also find that they shine on the ecological aesthetic thoughts of western aestheticians since the 18 th century.The fourth chapter,the fifth chapter and the sixth chapter respectively analyze the uniqueness of Jacques Perrin’s "Three Nature Documentaries" from the perspective of ecological aesthetics from the two dimensions of surface text and deep meaning,using quantitative research and qualitative research.First of all,the thesis analyzes Jacques Perrin’s "Three Nature Documentaries" from three aspects: the law of nature,the promise of flying,and the confession of piety.Through the qualitative analysis of the original intention of the film creation,through the use of big data to the film creation techniques,audio-visual style,production costs,box office profit and other quantitative analysis,to determine the social influence and academic research value of Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries.In the study,this paper finds that Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries is both closed and open:the texts of Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries are derived from the objective record of the real world’s special perspective,and the film rejects fiction and exaggeration,therefore,the uniqueness of its audiovisual texts in content and creative techniques points the subject of the film to ecological aesthetics and ecological critique;therefore,the uniqueness of their audiovisual texts in content and creative techniques points the subject of the film to ecological aesthetics and ecological criticism;as a film and television product in the field of mass communication,although the Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries must face different levels of audience open interpretation,however,the film successfully points the audience to reflect on ecological issues with a beautiful screen effect.Secondly,this thesis analyzes the aesthetic characteristics and ecological implication of Jacques Perrin’s "Three Nature Documentaries" from the ecological ethics of respecting life and protecting nature.Through analysis,this paper finds that Jacques Perrin cooperates with the world-class technical team to achieve an unprecedented "Three Nature Documentaries",however,all audiovisual innovations serve the ecological concept of Jacques Perrin.The pursuit of the ideal of poetic dwelling and the expression of the harmonious coexistence between man and nature is the original intention of Jacques Perrin to create natural documentaries.The seventh chapter analyzes the overall characteristics and value of Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries from the perspective of ecological aesthetics.Jacques Perrin states a dialogue about life and philosophy in a poetic and concise way,and presents the magnificent nature from a unique perspective with a "intoxicated" narrative method different from that of the ecological disaster film "awaking" the audience.At the end of the chapter,this thesis explains the value of Jacques Perrin and his natural documentaries.Jacques Perrin is a famous director who constantly innovates and surpasses himself.He constructs an ecological home full of poetic and aesthetic pursuit with revolutionary record-keeping and subversive documentary method.The eighth chapter briefly describes the influence of Jacques Perrin’s natural documentaries on Chinese documentaries.This chapter analyzes and compares Chinese and foreign natural documentaries from the aspects of social and cultural background,creative concept,production mode,operation management,and discovers that Jacques Perrin inspired the creation of Chinese natural documentaries in terms of creative perspective,narrative method and central theme.It further shows the social and aesthetic significance of the Chinese natural documentaries in the era of ecological civilization. |
