The Philology Research Of Kalmyk Woodcut "Golden Guangming Jing"

This dissertation consist of three sections:introduction,research of Mongolian Translation of Kalmykia version’s Altangerel,and the manuscript research of Kalmykia Altangerel.In the introduction section,I respectively introduced the aim of Kalmykia Altangerel’ s research,the outline of present research,methodology and the main document of this dissertation.The part of research of Mongolian Translation of Kalmykia version’ s Altangerel consist of four sections:in chapter one investigated the relationship of the two already found versions of Kalmykia Altangerel on their printed time and connection,one version is discovered by H · Lobsangbaldan of People’ s Republic of Mongolia,the other one is found by Minggad Erdemtu of Minzu University of China.In the first section detaily introduced the origin and the connection of the two Kalmykia versions.I claimed that the version found by Minggat Erdemtu was published prior to the version discovered by H · Lobsangbaldan,and the latter one was the second published version of the first one.in the second section corrected the published time of the Kalmykia Altangerel,which was held by scholar that during 1741-1761 or 1757-1761.Now I claimed that it is during 1741-1755.In chapter two represented the already found handwritten manuscript of Kalmykia Altangerel and the related handwritten manuscript into three sections.In the first section introduced the three kinds of already found handwritten manuscript of Kalmykia Altangerel.Investigated what is the relationship between the three kinds of handwritten manuscript and the tow published versions of Kalmykia Altangerel,and distinguished handwritten versions were originated from which of the two published version.in the second section compared Kalmykia Altangerel to the handwritten Altangerel of original version which was translated by Zaya pandida,and clearly described how much revisions have been made when Tod Usug’s Altangerel has been published again in the Kalmykias of Volga River.in the third section,compared the Kalmykia Altangerel to the Tod Usug’ s Altangerel,which was revised by Jungar’ s Galdancering Khan,and pointed out the differences of the Kalmykia Altangerel and the Jungar Altangerel.In chapter three investigated the relationship of the Kalmykia Altangerel and its Tibetan manuscript.in the first section through comparing two kinds of 21—chaptered Altangerel of Tibetan Kangyur,which are closely related to Kalmykia Altangerel,clearly dintinguished which one was the most closely related to Kalmykia Altangerel,More definitely speaking,through comparing the“21—chaptered Altangerel of Tibetan Kangyur of Litang version" and the"21—chaptered Altangerel of Tibetan Kangyur of Yongle version",I found that the Litang version is closer to the Kalmykia Altangerel.In the second section I clearly described the translation features of the Kalmykia Altangerel by comparing it to the "21—chaptered Altangerel of Tibetan Kangyur of Litang version".In chapter four,I described the translation structures of both Easter and Western Mongol,through comparing the Kalmykia Altangerel to the "21—chaptered Altangerel" which was collected in the"Mongol Singhon Kangyur of Beejing Version".in section one,after comparing theKalmykiaAltangereltothe "21—chaptered Altangerel" which was collected in the "Mongol Singhon Kangyur of Beejing Version",I did a case study of 231 words which were concluded in both versions of Altangerel,I claimed that the original script of this two versions of Altangerel was different.in section two,I studied the translation structure of the Kalmykia Altangerel and the "21—chaptered Altangerel”which was collected in the "Mongol Singhon Kangyur of Beejing Version".After investigating I found that the Kalmykia Altangerel was translated from the "21—chaptered Altangerel of Tibetan Kangyur of Litang version" and it has its own independent translation system which is different from the the "21—chaptered Altangerel" which was collected in the“Mongol Singhon Kangyur of Beejing Version".
