Microscopic Practice And Heterogeneity Presence

This study is about the resistance tactics of white-collar workers in their everyday lives.It is based on the micro-level observation of everyday living practices of whitecollar workers at the office space.Macroscopically,white-collar workers surviving in complex environment,which contains various power relations between society and the company,in which they are subjected to a series of repression and restraint of classification,exclusion,objectification and standardization,and an individual accepts the discipline and control of various power from company and society,consciously internalized,become a passive "productive subject".At the micro level,however,white-collar workers in offices use micro-practices resist tactics or change the limits of different power systems or evade the discipline of different power systems.They achieve themselves by actions in desire to some extent.This kind of micro-politics gets its own strategy in two forms of counter-normalized powers.One is “discursive politics”,with which marginalized groups liberate themselves and gain freedom by resisting the hegemonic discourse of placing individuals under normative constraints,in office buildings it presented as white-collar workers manifest themselves though "practice of everyday life" and "practice in space ".The other is "biological politics",that is,the individual break free from the shackles of the regulatory power,they reshape the body by creating new forms of pleasure and subvert the standardization of the subject identity and ideology,in office buildings it presented as the" technologies of the self " of white-collar workers.These practices are also the process of seeking individual survival areas in a huge and complex technological society.The micro-practices of white-collar workers in office buildings trigger "flight-becoming".On one hand,the result of flights becoming new subjects,on the other hand,the stream of becoming creates a "chaotic" world.Chaos is the original state of the world and is worthy of recognition.Therefore,the survival of white-collar workers is deterritorialisation in“the rigid line" which is intended to dominate everything.The micro practices in office buildings also show a multitude of sporadic debris states that echo the diversity and heterogeneity in Lyotard semantics,and have become the individual narration with multiplicity and heterogeneity which different from the meta-narration.The prosperity of individual narration will make the society more free and inclusive,which is the ideal of free social life.The micro practices in offices are also some kind of imaginatively creative things that echo the "uniqueness" in the Lyotardian language event,those micro practices can be seen as a break-away moment from dehumanization to humanization.This moment is not only the everyday life poetics associated with the practitioners themselves,but also presents a mystery which unacceptable by the formal logic and it reaches the sublime aesthetics of post-modernism.Therefore,the study of the everyday life of white-collar workers does not only provide us the individual strategy to resistance center power in social rules but also present us the other possibilities of society,and then,it serves as a kind of perspective and method to provide inspiration to construct art.
