Study Of Prescription And Diagnosis For Huangqin Decoction From Treatise On Febrile Diseases

The first step is collecting literature data on the platform of Zhonghua Yidian,CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)and library of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine using Huangqin and Huangqin decoction as key words.Classify and sum up these literature by different literature type and draw out information accordingly.Controversy about Huangqin decoction in the history of traditional Chinese medicine were clarified.Detailed clinical symptoms of Huangqin decoction added by doctors in ancient China were summarized.The main clinical symptoms existed in the modern medical records related to Huangqin decoction and associated prescriptions were extracted and analyzed.Combining with interpretation of the original text,the typical clinical indications of Huangqin decocion and the constitutions of applicable people were clear.The disease spectrum in ancient time and modern time was described by sorting out the related literature.Firstly,the typical clinical indications of Huangqin decoction include bleeding,abdominal pain,diarrhea,muscle and joint pain,dysphoria with smothery sensation,high temperature of abdomen and rapid pulse.The clinical manifestations of Bleeding include hemafecia,hematuria,hemoptysis,nose bleeding,bleeding gums,hemoptysis and menstrual problems,such as menorrhagia,prolonged bleeding,bleeding between periods and uterine bleeding.The clinical manifestations of abdominal pain and diarrhea include stool frequency,loose stool,foul smell,bloody mucus,tenesmus,abdominal pain,burning pain in anus,hemorrhoids and dysmenorrhea.The clinical manifestations muscle and joint pain include morning stiffness,four limbs joins pain,low back pain,neck and shoulder pain and lower limbs spasm.The clinical manifestations of dysphoria with smothery sensation include choking sensation in chest,restlessness,anxiety,sleep disorders,psychogeny,body's glowing feeling,sweating,palpitation,burning sensation during urination,bitter taste,red tongue or rapid pulse.High temperature of belly button is a common feature.And rapid pulse is the common pulse.Secondly,the disease spectrum include the digestive system diseases with abdominal pain clinical manifestations.The digestive system diseases with abdominal pain and diarrhea as main clinical manifestations include ulcerative colitis,chemotherapy-induced diarrhea,crohn's disease,chronic non-atrophic gastritis,acute or chronic gastroenteritis,amebic dysentery,acute hemorrhagic necrotizing enteritis,cholecystitis,jaundice,colon cancer,liver cancer,etc.Obstetricial and gynecological diseases with abdominal pain and abnormal menstruation as main clinical manifestations include adenomyosis,endometriosis,prolonged bleeding,bleeding between periods,uterine bleeding,threatened abortion,aciesis,endometrial cancer postoperative treatment,etc.The urinary system diseases with stranguria as main clinical manifestation include chyluria,acutenephritis and polycystic kidney.The sleeping disorders.The female patients,uterus are hot.Menorrhagia with dark red colour and blood clot or prolonged bleeding,uterine bleeding,bleeding between periods and dysmenorrhea are the common clinical manifestations.Rapid pulse and thin yellow tongue fur are also the main characters.Through the study of the clinical experience of ancient and modern doctor,we find that Huangqin decoction has good antiviral effect in addition to the anti-inflammatory effect.At the same time,according to the clinical experience of professor Huang Huang,Huangqin decoction may has a broad application prospect in liver disease,gynaecological and the disease of immune system.Huangqin decoction also has great anticancer effect.Huangqin decoction shows great potential in the treatment of gastric cancer,liver cancer,colon cancer,endometrial cancer and cervical cancer.
