Objectives:Through the literature research on the content of andrology in the ancient books,get a whole insight about the development process of andrology,Summing up its critical theory,and then classifying,sorting,tiding et.al.On the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the historical development of ancient TCM andrology,elaborate the achievements about anatomy and physiology,pathogenesis,diagnosis and differentiation,so as to provide a reference for the theoretical and experimental study of Chinese medicine Andrology.Also provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment activities.Methods:1.Excerpting original content: read through the ancient literature,extract the original data that related to TCM andrology comprehensively,and then recognizing,understanding basic the connotations and spirit about andrology in the ancient literature.2.Understanding the original spirit: referring to the annotations and interpretations of the content of andrology in the ancient literature as much as I could,further more understanding the basic connotation and spirit of the original literatures,then classifying,sorting,studying the excerpts to compared with the andrology contents which are associated with clinical medicine in in the ancient literature,in order to summed up and sorting out the theories of TCM andrology systematically and comprehensively.3.Refining the original ideas: Under the faithful premise of its original basic idea and through deep understanding in the contents of TCM andrology in the ancient literature,organizing the thoughts of anatomy,pathogenies and pathogenesis,diagnosis,differentiation of content in the ancient TCM andrology.4.Discussion and novel insights: under the premise of deep research into the theories of ancient literature andrology,Combined the content of the comprehensive ancient literature texts with modern research results and contents of modern medicine,then put forward my own views on andrology.Results:1.Reviewed the development of ancient andrology of science,briefly discusses the different periods in ancient times in the male science physicians work,and a brief introduction to the andrology medical achievements.In my opinion: the pre Qin period have a preliminary understanding of drug of male reproductive organs and physiological characteristics and treatment of common diseases,the Han and Tang Dynasties;use syndrome differentiation diagnosis and treatment principle of male diseases,initially made up male disease in the medical literature school essay,created some treatment of male diseases,drug therapy,and preliminary exposition the ideas and methods of male disease prevention and nursing;Song and Yuan Dynasties created some new treatment of male diseases,develop the etiology and pathogenesis of male disease knowledge,enrich the theoretical system of TCM andrology and male disease treatment;During Ming and Qing Dynasties,deep thoughts about male physiology and pathology theory got up,expanding the scope of emergence of Andrology monographs,marking the Chinese male science discipline system initially formed.2.In the understanding of male external genital organs,the ancients have very clear understanding of the penis and testicles,and also got accurate description about the glans,the urethral opening,spermatic cord,scrotum and testis.In the understanding of the reproductive system,the ancients described the understanding of " pipeline of semen " and " pipeline of urine",and the inguinal canal.They also got some enrich knowledge of relative organs and main and collateral channels.3.The ancient andrology have so many causes: congenital,exogenous and internal injuries,improper diet and overstrain and sexual and other.And these causes will lead to the body suffered "righteousness deficiency" and "pathogenic increase" pathogenesis,generally speaking,congenital,traumatic,internal injuries and sexual intercourse will lead to internal injuries,while others caused pathogenic increase.4.While the ancient physicians treated patients,firstly,they recognized the biological differences between men and women: men were Yang,women were Yin,and the pulse of men and women are also show different level of strong or weak;men need QI,women need blood,so the men and women varied in colors and veins.For men,diagnosis through pulse is extremely important.Based on the data of differential part of pulse,also with other diagnostic methods,comprehensive pathological data will be collected.5.Syndrome differentiation of men disease by ancient physicians included: differentiation of qi-blood-body fluid,eight principal syndrome differentiation,and syndrome differentiation of organs viscera.Syndrome of blood and body fluids including qi Syndrome: "Qi Deficiency Syndrome" and "Qi stagnation," Blood Syndrome includes "Blood Deficiency" "Blood Stasis";body fluid Syndrome include "wet overflows card" " phlegm in the resistance card " " phlegm stasis syndrome."
