This Dissertation adopts the traditional philology and the oral history research method,to discuss foreign architectural history in the development course of Chinese teaching and research.In the aspect of education architecture,this article studies the architectural education in the field of modern art academy education mode,and summarizes the establishment of the foreign architectural history education development course since gui-mao school system.The paper analyzes the characteristics of education in foreign architectural history courses in different periods: from 1902 to 1949,the independent development model under the influence of western education thought,such as ENSBA(Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts),the university of Pennsylvania and Bauhaus;1949-1976 unified teaching model of the Moscow school of art of the Soviet union;the multi-symbiotic and flexible multi-step education mode from 1976 to now.Furthermore,it studies the teaching of foreign architectural history in different periods and different architecture departments(departments and groups),summarizes and compares their respective teaching characteristics and related similarities and differences.In the field of academic research,the article sums up the research history of foreign architectural history since the beginning of aesthetics.Originally(1902-1926 years),the academic research of the history of foreign architecture took the main research direction of aesthetics and was deeply influenced by the new historical doctrine of china.Subsequently,foreign architectural history academic research with architecture as the main object gradually became mainstream.During the period from 1927 to 1949,the research was obviously influenced by western architectural research ideas.In 1949-1976 years,it was based on marxist theory.After 1976,the study of foreign architectural history was spurt.In the mass of research results,the most prominent achievement is the construction of the framework of the study of foreign architectural history.Based on foreign architectural history teaching and academic research results,combined with the foreign key architectural history oral interviews,this paper puts forward the contents of the foreign architectural history research and requirements,including the humanities quality,architectural design practice,philosophy of three levels.The article gives a personal reflection on the current situation of Chinese research in the history of foreign architecture.
