This article takes the transformation of garden space to visual art as the research object,starting with the Relationship between landscape painting and garden,explores the close relationship between literati landscape painting and Chinese traditional garden,and then from the perspective of "watching",makes a thorough study and discussion on the correspondence,comparison,deduction and transformation between traditional “garden space” and “contemporary visual art”,and attempts to refine the characteristics and summarize the regularity.Chinese traditional gardens are precious material and cultural heritage,and also an important creative resource of contemporary visual art.The dissertation systematically combs the integration & expression,deduction & re-presentation of Chinese traditional gardens in contemporary visual art through four categories: painting art,image art,experimental art and reconstructing art.Painting art is classified and elaborated in four directions: landscape sketch,image expression,decorative interest and abstract composition;image art is narrated in three categories: photographic art,recording image and experimental image;experimental art is discussed in terms of widely used elements and intentions related to gardens,such as Taihu Stone,Peach Blossom Source and Suzhou Garden;Reconstructing art,crossing the boundaries of disciplines,reconstructs the traditional garden space with new perspectives,different language forms,different expressive techniques and corresponding media,and expends detailed analysis and discussion through garden exhibitions,garden variants,garden methods and gardens in art design.The dissertation conveys the infiltration and extension of different elements of Chinese traditional gardens in the field of contemporary visual art and architectural space,and leads the discussion through case analysis,which provides a visual text for contemporary gardening research. |
