With the increasing cost pressures,pharmaceutical outsourcing service has become a very important element of competition between large pharmaceutical companies.The pharmaceutical outsourcing industry in China is growing rapidly in recent years.Clinical research associate is the most important employee in the contract research organization(CRO).Their job performance affect the development of enterprises.Job performance is the most widely studied criterion variable in the literature pertaining to organizational behavior and human resource management.In this study,we investigated the work stress,job satisfaction,organizational commitment,and job performance of CRA who worked in the CRO.After exploratory factor analysis,the research results indicated that job performance was empirically distinguished from task and contextue two factors;the job stress was empirically distinguished from three factors: role overload,role ambiguity and role conflict;the job satisfaction was empirically distinguished from six factors: work itself,benifits,direct leader,coworkers,organizational management,objects;organizational commitment is just one independent factor.The survey can reflect the CRA's job performance,job satisfaction,work stress and organizational commitments well.Different individual attributes of employees have a significant difference in work stress,job satisfaction and job performance.Further study found a significant correlation between job stress and task performance.Organizational commitment has played a significant regulatory role between job stress and job performance.There was a significant correlation between job satisfaction and task performance.The relationship between job satisfaction and relationship performance also significant.Organizational commitment between job stress and job performance has played a significant regulatory role.
