Research On The Methods For Knowledge Acquisition And Analysis Oriented To Problems In Production Floor

Under the background of "INDUSTRY 4.0" and "Made in China 2025", the manufacturing enterprises in our country are facing historic opportunities and great challenges in the new round development. Production floor is the fundamental place for manufacturing enterprises to realize the goal of production and operation, and production management is to solve the problems in the production floor. In the process of solving these problems, it will use and create a lot of knowledge. How to excavate and manage knowledge has been the key factor for the success of manufacturing enterprise knowledge management. However, because the problem solving is different from the general and repetitive practice activities, the knowledge created and used in the problem solving is also very complicated. Which presents a huge challenge for the ability of enterprise knowledge management, has also brought considerable difficulty for the research on knowledge management in production floor.The existing research has been carried out in three aspects:1) knowledge content management based on product core; 2) knowledge process management based on business or production process; and 3) knowledge management system based on information system. However, the complexity of knowledge from problem solving in production floor determines there are still some problems to be further carried out about the knowledge management theory and practice research. Therefore, this paper focused on the knowledge management in production floor of manufacturing enterprises, based on the theory "the unity of knowing and doing", the research results of cognitive psychology about problem solving, and the research method of knowledge management and engineering. So, in order to study the knowledge from problem solving in production floor, this paper is to study the methods of knowledge acquisition and analysis in production floor of manufacturing enterprises. In this paper, it consists of the following five research contents:Firstly, based on the in-depth analysis of knowledge characteristics, types and contents from problem solving, a knowledge representation model of multi-level, multi-dimension and multi-granularity is proposed in order to describe comprehensive and systematic knowledge architecture in production floor. Secondly, the two phases of knowledge acquisition method is proposed from production practice to experience, and from experience to knowledge, then back to production practice and knowledge creation. Thirdly, the knowledge analysis method oriented to production floor is proposed based on the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of problem driven knowledge representation model, including knowledge classification analysis, knowledge level analysis, knowledge similarity analysis and knowledge probability analysis. Lastly, the theory, method and technology are applied in the practice of knowledge management in manufacturing enterprises. In addition, this paper also concludes the practical value of this research, as well as the future research and development direction. The objectives of this paper are for further promoting knowledge creation combination with the enterprise management in production floor, for providing a new theory and method framework, and better for cultivating the capability of independent innovation and core competitiveness in manufacturing enterprises.In the aspect of theory, the methods of problem driven knowledge acquisition and analysis are proposed from the three angles of philosophy, cognitive psychology and knowledge management. In the aspect of method and technology, problem driven knowledge representation model is proposed, and based on this, the methods of problem driven knowledge acquisition and analysis. In the aspect of application, the proposed methods are applied to the practice of knowledge management in the example enterprise. This research about the proposition of the methods has a methodological significance. It not only helps explaining the nature of cognitive relationship about knowledge, but also provides a new view and method of knowledge acquisition and analysis. More importance, is can be combines with management practice in production floor, so as to promote the practice of knowledge management in manufacturing enterprises.
