Based On The Data Mining Theory, The Chinese Medicine Syndrome Of Migraine In Germany And The Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Were Explored

The disease incidence rate of the Migraine in Germany Crowd is the highest in the world,and the Clinical Efficacy of western medicines for the Migraine is not optimistic.The main reason is the over use of analgesic drugs,badly drug dependence and adverse reactions.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)for Migraine curing has a big advantage in reducing the frequency of headache attacks and reducing the pain.It has gotten common affirm by the doctors and patients in China because it's easy to be accepted by patients for it's safety.Until now,the Clinical Efficacy of TCM in Migraine only concerned to the Asian people and there has been no any study on it's effect on the German Crowd.So,it is necessary to study the characteristics and regularity of German Migraine patients for finding out a effective TCM treatment program.It will promote the TCM to the world for curing people in different races.Purpose:By the retrospective study and summary for the clinical cases of the Migraine patient living in TCM-Klinik Bad Kotzting Chinese Hospital located in Germany,this article is investigating the relationship between the Disease Characteristics of the German Migraine patients and the Dialectical Classification of TCM as well as Ingredient of Chinese Medicine;by the method of Evidence-based medicine,this Article is doing the META analysis for the Randomized Controlled Trial(RCT)comparison efficacy of the TCM and Western Medicine taken by the patients who have Excessive Rising of Liver-YANG,and providing the clinical Chinese medicine treatment basis for the patients who have Excessive Rising of Liver-YANG.By the analysis for the headache condition,TCM syndrome,living condition and the Patient Report Outcome(PRO),this article investigates the situation improvement by the Chinese Medicine for the Migraine syndrome and reveal the importance of the TCM for curing different Migraine crowds.Method:1.The research in this Article uses the method of Retrospective Description and Data Mining,collects the data of German Migraine patients living in hospital.Case contents were classified by the basic information such as age,gender,etc,and classified by the Diagnosis information such as clinical type,symptom,tongue pluse and TCM pharmacy.Relevant database were built.Analyzes the symptom information by the method of Factor Analysis and the method of Clustering.Classifies the symptoms of Migraine patients.Uses a data mining software named SPSS Clementine and the Association rule algorithm to do data mining and analysis for the symptoms,medicine treatment and their relevance of Migraine Patients.Finds the objective laws of TCM treatment for the German Migraine patients.Analyzes the TCM clinical symptoms of German Migraine Patients,summaries the popular clinical TCM syndrome types,finds the effective TCM medicine.Gives a clinical evidence for finding a effective TCM treating program for German Migraine Patients.2.The research in this Article uses the method of Evidence-method medicine to do the META analysis for the RCT comparison efficacy of the TCM and Western Medicine taken by the patients who have Excessive Rising of Liver-YANG,and provides the clinical Chinese medicine treatment basis for the patients who have Excessive Rising of Liver-YANG.3.The research in this Article describes the TCM's efficacy by using the method of Prospective Clinical Case Study and by observing the Half Rate of headaches,headache frequency,PRO quantity table and living conditions,etc.It provides a effective clinical evidence for curing German Migraine Patients.Result:1.Common clinical data:159 cases of German Migraine Patients were studied in this Article,in which there are 20 males and 139 females included(M:F=1:7);in which the youngest is of 12 and the oldest is of 76 years old(Average is of 50 years old),including 69.8%of patients who are in age of 41-60;in which the biggest profession of patients is clerical stuff,of 45.9%;in which 74.8%of patients have been in this sickness for more then ten years and face difficult to be cured;in which 37.7%of patients have digestive tract disease history and 35.8%of patients have cervical spondylosis history.By studying the influencing factors of disease,some incentives,weather changes,fatigue and motions changes can lead Migraine happening.2.According to the analysis of Frequency Distribution we know:For the German Migraine Patients,the Top 5 areas with pain in the head(in descending order)are:Forehead,temple,eye,neck and occipital.The top 5 kinds of pain(in descending order)are:Tingling,Tenderness,Jumping pain,Pulling pain and Boxing pain,in which precursor performance frequency number is 28 and the ratio of 17.6%.The top 5 Symptomatic(in descending order)are:Recurrent,Nausea and Vomiting,Dry mouth,Upset irritability,Fatigue.The top 5 Tongue Distribution(in descending order)are:Dark tongue,tongue with teeth marks,fat tongue,red tongue,tongue with ecchymosis.The top 5 Fur Distribution(in descending order)are:Thin white fur,Greasy moss,Moss thin yellow,Yellow greasy moss,Thin and greasy fur.The top 5 Pulse condition(in descending order)are:Slippery pulse,Wiry pulse,Weak pulse,Thin pulse,Thin string.About the degree of headache relief:for the patients had fully scored,there are 66 patients was positive cured by the TCM and 57 patients not.The efficiency of TCM for cure the Migraine is bigger than 50%.3.By the factor analysis and cluster analysis it shows:there are two popular symptom complex in German Migraine.The first is including Cheek pain,flushing,Fanre,back pain,tinnitus,forgetfulness,yellow greasy(including common factor 6 and 9)and the second is including Head such as wrap,ear and ear week,full head,shortness of breath,foot sweat heart,Pale tongue,thin fur,white fur,greasy fur,tongue crack,slippery pulse number(including common factor 5,7 and 10).4.By the analysis of association it shows:in Clinical symptoms of migraine in Germany,there is some relevance among Recurrent seizures,Nausea and Vomiting,Dark tongue,Thin white fur,String pulse,Weak pulse,Slippery pulse,etc.5.Totally using 129 kinds of TCM materials for the 159 cases,Total usage frequency is 1958 times.There are 29 materials has been used not less than 20 times,total 1449 times which is 73.83%of total number.The top 15 most used materials which are used more than 40 times are Bupleurum,Scutellaria baicalensis,Achyranthes bidentata,Angelica dahurica,radix paeoniae rubra,Jiang Huang,Tribulus terrestris,Sanleng,bamboo shavings,white muscardine silkworm,turmeric,medlar,Jiang Banxia,Fructus Lycii,Fructus aurantii,Fructus viticis.By the types of TCM materials,it show that the most using frequency is Materials for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis,total 400 times(20.42%).The second is materials for relieving exterior syndrome,total 321 times(16.38%).The third is Tonic medicine,268 times(13.67%).The fourth is Heat clearing medicine,total 245 times(12.5%).The fifth is materials for calming liver to stop endogenous wind,total 268 times(8.43%).Popular materials for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis are:Turmeric,Turmeric,Sanleng,Achyranthes,Ligusticum wallichii,etc.Popular materials for relieving exterior syndrome are:Radix bupleuri,Angelica dahurica Benth,Fructus viticis.Popular materials for Tonic medicine are:Chinese wolfberry fruit,Ligustrum Lucidum Ait,Angelica sinensis,Teasel root,Atractylodes,Astragalus and Radix Paeoniae Alba.Popular cocos-Bighead atractylodes rhizome.Most common TCM quadruple drugs are:Bupleurum root-Scutellaria-Caltrop-Fructus Viticis,Prepared RHIZOMA PINELLIAE with juice of rhizima zingiberis rec-ens-Radix curcumae-Bighead atractylodes rhizome-Silkworm larva,Mangnolia officinalis-Dried tangerine or orange peel-Root of fangfeng-Rhizoma atractylodis.7.By association analysis it shows:in 159 TCM prescriptions of German Migraine patients,the Bupleurum root is the most popular medicine.Two-medicine-material composition show six association rules in which the Bupleurum root and Scutellaria are most related to each other.Total 96 cases,data support rate 60.4%,confidence level 92.7%.8.According to the Drug association rules it shows that:Angelica dahurica,bupleurum and Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi(3 TCM drugs)has most relationship with the cardinal symptoms of this disease such as Forehead pain,vomiting with nausea,repeated attacks,taut pluse and slippery pulse.9.There are 13 Articles report this result.Meta analysis result shows the efficacy of TCM group is better than the Control group(OR:0.41 95%CI:-0.28,0.60).10.According to syndrome differentiation,it shows significant difference in the effect of TCM to Headache frequency and Headache level changes(P<0.01).11.According to syndrome differentiation,all scores in SF-36 Quantity List are increased.Comparing to the list before curative treatment,there is statistical difference in HT,RP and VT latitudes.There are difference in HT and RE latitudes before and after curative treatment and it has statistical significance.Scores in PRO quantity list are decreased,in which the Body status,Functional Status,Mental Health and PRO total Score has statistical difference.Conclusion:1.Base on the Data Digging Tech,got a conclusion that Migraine in German is mainly related to the Pathologic factors of Qi stagnation,Phlegm and Blood stasis,and also related to the organs of Liver,Spleen and Kidney.When the headache happens,the most common symptom are Forehead pain,vomiting with nausea,repeated attacks,taut pluse and slippery pulse.Found that there are two common disease types named(1)Hyperactivity of the Liver Yang and(2)Qi Deficiency and Phlegm Dampness.Clinical care focus on the Liver and He Jie Shao Yang.Suggest using Radix Bupleuri and Scutellaria baicalensis with medicine promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis.2.Using Meta Analysis method to analyze the curative effect of Hyperactivity of the Liver Yang in Articles.Proves that TCM is helping for improving the curative effect of Hyperactivity of the Liver Yang,having less untoward effects comparing the western medicine and is more suitable for patients.3.TCM is effective in reducing the times of headache and in pain relief for the German Migraine patients.Based on the Analysis of Quantity Bill,it proved that TCM has curative effects for headache,physical function and psychological situation of the German Migraine patients.
