Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Health School Research

Although the origin of Sichuan TCM health-preserving is earlier and rapidly developed, less studies on it. Related researches were scattered or brief. Several health experience and methods were scattered in some books about academic experience set or clinical evidence. There has not been system summary or analysis about formation, classification, characteristics and development of its schools and lack of regional characteristics.Therefore, in this paper, the author using books, newspapers and periodicals collection resources in library of Chengdu university of TCM, the library of Sichuan province and Chengdu city library. Researching the literatures in service in the Ckni database, the WANFANG database and the Vip database. Combining field trips to Sichuan cities such as Chengdu, Pengshan County, Mount Emei, Dujiangyan, Mount Qingcheng, etc. Literature and data related to Sichuan TCM health-preserving were collected. Using the method of document analysis, getting rid of repeat content, classifying them to big parts such as Yangsheng theory and methods or small parts such as physicians. By means of the analysis of the literature, the background and development of Sichuan schools of TCM health-preserving can be combed. Divided modern Sichuan schools of TCM health-preserving, sorted and concluded each physician's health thought, further analyzed the genre characteristics and summarized its development. This study, which was beneficial to inherit and carry forward the characteristics of Sichuan TCM health-preserving and promoted its development.This article was divided into five parts:first, introduced the history of Sichuan, cleared the scope and object of this study. Second, combined with the ancient nature, economy, culture, medicine, folk, ethnic minorities and other background, combed system of Sichuan Schools of TCM health-preserving. Third, summed up the ancient health academic thoughts in Sichuan, dated from the original of modern health-preserving schools. Forth, with its ancient basis, modern health-preserving schools are divided into medical classics health sent schools, diet regimen schools and Qigong regimen schools. Besides, added regimen of Fu Yang and minorities'health. Summarized and analyzed their formation, classification, characteristics and development. Fifth, by means of this research, come to the conclusion and strategies for deficiencies of Sichuan TCM health-preserving.
