As the mobility of tank is being limited due to its thicker main armor,light and medium vehicles have replaced heavy tanker to satisfy the military need in modern war.It's the key that whether light and medium vehicles can be dealed with effectively,which can make great importance to the process of war.Although traditional shaped charge warhead has a desired penetration depth comparing to its small diameter of penetration hole,the damage effect is not desired caused by kinetic energy of the jet and the fragments behind the target.So it is difficult to achcive high-efficency terminal damage effect of hit-to-kill.Reactive materials and their applications to the technology of ammunition warhead are one of the most active and hottest issues in current efficient damage study.Comparing to traditional shaped charge warhead,the shaped charge with reactive material liner are different in many aspects,such as damage mechanism,damage mode and damage effect,whose remarkable features is that the reactive material liner can form a reliable jet and penetrate target by kinetic energy after the charge detonated.In addition,due to the self-activation and the release of chemical energy,the jet formed by reactive marterial liner explodes and holds a damage effect inside the target.So that the damage effect of shaped charge warhead can be improved significantly under the combined action of kinetic penetrator and implosion effect.In this dissertation,the formation behavior of reactive material jet,the damage effect of reactive material jet imposing on steel target and the overpressure inside the target are discussed by means of theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experimental study.The reactive material jet formation process,the penetrating process,damage effect of target and the mechanism of igniting fuel are studied emphatically.1.The jet formation of shaped charge with a reactive material liner was investigated by numerical simulation.Based on AUTODYN-2D simulation code,the reactive material model called Power Burn was discribed to simulate the formation process of jet,penetrating the concrete and implosion effect by using a multiple step and continuous method.The regulations that material parameter and structure parameter of the reactive shaped charge liner imposed on the formation process of reactive jet is studied,and the behavior of the reactive shaped charge liner was also discussed via flash X-ray.2.Reserch on the damage effect of reactive material jet imposing on steel target.Based on the nonlinear dynamics software AUTODYN-2D,the influence that material parameter and structure parameter of the reactive shaped charge liner on the damage effect of steel target is discussed.A test series experiments were conducted to validate damage effect of target.The best structure parameter of liner,the optimumreactive material parameter and the best standoff distance were acquired through the static experimental study.3.A analysis model of the damage effect of reactive jet imposed on steel target is presented.The damage effects of steel target penetrated by reactive material jet were analyzed theoretically.The delay time of reactive material was introduced and a semi-empirical predictive formula of reactive material was acquired under the condition of quasi steady incompressible ideal fluid mechanics.Based on modified Bernoulli equation,the theoretical analysis about reaming radial of reactive jet is discussed,and the final calculating diameter formula of reactive jet imposing on steel target was acquired.Meanwhile,the mechanism of damage enhancement effect of reactive jet was explained.4.Damage enhancement effect of reactive jet imposing on steel target was studied by means of theoretical analysis and static experimental.The results showed that not only the mass of reactive material liner but also the target thickness and delay time of reaction have significant impact on the over-pressure inside the target.The over-pressure almost has exponential decrease with increasing the thickness of target.The influence of reactive material liner parameters on enhancement damage effect of electronic components and the ability of ignition fuel behind the target were studied.The mechanism of ignition fuel and the damage behavior of electronic components impacted by reactive material jet were discussed.5.Damage enhancement effect of reactive armor penetrated by reactive material jet was studied.The ignition mechanism,influence factor and ignition criterion were analyzed.The law of ignition criterion influenced by liner structure parameters and shaped charge standoff distance was obtained.The penetration performance of reactive material jet against simulated reactive armor with different yaw angle were tested and validated by ground-based experiment.The enhancement damage effect of reactive armor ignited by reactive material jet was analyzed on the aspect of mechanism.
