| The application of reactive material on warhead is one trend of efficient damage research field,attracting high attention and vigorous development by weapons and ammunition research institutions all around the world due to its unique penetration-induced initiation and damage effect.The research achievements can be valuable and have a great importance on the development of efficient damage research field.Through theoretical analysis,numerical simulations and experimental study,the terminal penetration-induced initiation and damage effect of penetration-explosive PELE was studied.Here focus on the dynamic analysis of penetrator-multilayer plate interaction,an analytical model for penetration-induced initiation behavior of penetration-explosive PELE is developed,which can predict the damage range and the damage efficiency.The process of penetration-explosive PELE penetrating multilayer target was simulated by using AUTODYN-3D code to investigate the mechanical behavior,and the regularity of damage effect can be concluded by the simulation result.A preliminary regulation of the influence factors such as the thickness of the target,impact velocity and the penetration angle in the mechanical behavior of penetration were obtained by summarizing and analyzing the simulation results,other regularities including different parameters between target and warhead can be obtained by further analysis.The penetration-induced initiation and its combined damage effects,produced by penetration-explosive PELE against multi-layer plate target was also simulated.The research achievements have significant reference value on the design,development,weapon application and terminal execution evaluation of penetration-explosive PELE. |
