Based on the literature review on creative agriculture, financial development andrural credit, this study reveals the connotation, basic characteristics and necessity ofthe creative agriculture, sets up a theory model of influencing factors, support abilityand support performance, and puts forward the hypothesis framework of financialsupport for creative agriculture. The creative agricultural enterprise, finance andcreative agriculture experts and government officials in nine cities of Fujian Provinceare interviewed, and then a preliminary questionnaire titled ‘Impact factors of thefinancial support for creative agriculture’ and a questionnaire titled ‘Research of thefinancial support for creative agriculture’ are designed. By collecting and analyzingthe sample data, then carrying on empirical study by the method of the structuralequation model (SEM), this study finds the key factors and functional ways of thefinancial support for creative agriculture, and proposes rationalizations. Findings ofthe study are shown as following:Firstly, from the three aspects such as social environment, financial institutionsand creative agriculture organizations, the research concludes that thirteen impactfactors influence on financial support performance for creative agriculture, includingbasic facilities, policies and regulations, social intermediate organizations, social trust,decision, organization, leadership, control, resource, industry, marketing, finance andculture. And three indexes of financial support ability for creative agriculture areconcluded, including the ability of financial creation and risk control, the ability ofagricultural creation and brand operation and the ability of management. All thefactors above constitute its hypothesis framework.Secondly, based on the SEM, the data are analyzed and the model is tested bythe software Lisrel8.70. It, by empirical study, is found that the seven of the thirteenimpact factors (policies and regulations, social trust, decision, control, industry,marketing and finance) distinctly make positive effect on financial supportperformance for creative agriculture..Thirdly, it, by the empirical study based on the SEM, is found that the threefactors of financial support ability for creative agriculture (the ability of financial creation and risk control, the ability of agricultural creation and brand operation andthe ability of management) distinctly make positive effect on the supportperformance.Fourthly, it, by the empirical study based on the SEM, is found that the financialsupport ability for creative agriculture make intermediating effect on the socialenvironment aspect (policies and regulations, social trust), the financial institutionsaspect (decision, control), the creative agriculture organizations aspect (industry,marketing, finance) and the support performance respectively.Findings of this study not only enrich the theory of the financial support forcreative agriculture, but also provide constructional suggestions for financial supportpractice for creative agriculture.
