| China’s economic development has made great achievements in more than30years after the reform and opening up. The average growth rate of annual GDP was close to10%, and lots of provinces and districts have also made progress. In recent years, the growth rate of GDP has slowed down. The traditional theory of economic growth with capital, labor and technology as the object of research can not be given the right solution. A large number of studies have shown that the focus on modern economic growth should lie in structural adjustment. In order to achieve sustained and stable economic growth, adjustment and optimization of industrial structure has become a central topic of modern economic growth. With the new trend of economic globalization and technological development, a lot of countries have established high-tech industries development and transformation of traditional industries as industrial restructuring objectives so as to obtain relative competitive advantage in the international arena; the industrial structure was forced to make the appropriate adjustments at home because the corresponding improvement of production technology caused by the change of consumption and investment structure. In the background of international and domestic industrial structure adjustment and optimization, in order to adapt to the global market and the domestic industrial structure and development of systematic, provincial domain or local industrial structure should make the appropriate changes in order to deal with "post-crisis era" in the region economic growth within continuity and stability. Thus, the optimization of industrial structure is a worldwide and cutting-edge subject, and has important significance.This thesis induced the researching framework of optimization of regional industrial structure based on summarizing the research results of domestic and foreign scholars and reviewing existing research methods on the industrial structure optimization. The author Selected Hubei province as the object to study. To analyze the evolution of industrial structure, we found the contrary to the law of evolution of industrial structure in Hubei Province.And with qualitative and quantitative analysis on its rationalization and sophistication of industrial structure, we also come to the conclusion that there are irrational industrial structure in Hubei Province. On this basis, we researched empirically the relative productive efficiency of the three industries in Hubei Province from the point of view of production efficiency, and put forward the industrial structure optimization program:reducing the input elements of the primary and secondary industries in the stage of decreasing returns; increasing inputs in the third industry which in the scope of increasing returns or constant returns. In this way, the production efficiency of the first and secondary industries will be promoted by the transfer of redundant elements, which may lead to greater output in turn. And increasing the factor inputs of the tertiary industry will also get greater output. Then, according to the reference of the regional leading industries and combined with the advantages and disadvantages of the method of selection of leading industry in the past, we taken DEA/AHP method to analyze quantitatively the choice of the leading industries in Hubei Province.The choice of the leading industrial group for the future industrial development in Hubei Province are communication and computer equipment manufacturing industry; electrical equipment manufacturing industry; instrumentational equipment manufacturing industry; petroleum processing industry;financial industry and real estate sectors industry. Finally, based on the above analysis, put forward the macro-level and micro-level suggestions on the industrial structure optimization in Hubei Province. |
