An Analysis On The Political Nature Of Discourse In Literary Studies(1954-1957)in The Scope Of Generalized Rhetoric

Four kinds of discourse with comparatively strong political sense in Literary Studies (1954-1957) were chosen to be the content of this research, including literary creation, literary criticism,"letter from readers", and "editor’s words". With reference to the theories of generalized rhetoric, this paper attempts to explore political outlook of the four types of discourses respectively from the perspective of words and phrases, sentences and discourses by taking discourse construction, textual construction, and the spiritual construction of discourse subject as sequence of thought.It is hoped that the study in this paper will provide new thoughts for analyzing discourse in contemporary Chinese literature periodicals.
