Research On The Japanese Science And Education Strategy And The Development Of The Dialectics Of Nature Thought

It was since1927, when the thesis "Materialist Dialectics and Natural Science" by Deborin, the Soviet Marxist philosopher, was translated and published by Motoyama Hikoichi, that the research on the Engels’Dialectics of Nature started in Japan. The Dialectics of Nature is a research field initiated by Engle, which aims at studying the commonest law of the human’s recognizing the nature and transforming the nature, and also aims at generalizing the content, production, developing history of the natural science philosophically.This thesis focuses on the spread and development of the Dialectics of Nature from the Japanese cultural perspective. The characteristics of heavy weight, deep permeability, wide circulation, large amplitude, high density, rich diversity are revealed. And it can also be seen that the value and influence of the Dialectics of Nature Thought, as the treasure of human thought, are profound and permanent so as to merge into the Japanese culture and be a part of it.This thesis consists of an exordium, four chapters and an appendix part.In the exordium, the research background, target, significance and the research results and deficiency about the spread and development of the Dialectics of Nature in Japan so far are summarized and generalized firstly. The research emphasis, difficulties and research methods are introduced as well. Then, the specificity of the Japanese and Japanese culture—character of uptake and absorption is emphasized. Finally, the entries distribution, the composition of the explaining content and the explanation and diction of the concept, Dialectics of Nature, in Japanese dictionaries are introduced.Chapter one is the investigation on the origins between some Japanese scientists and the Dialectics of Nature thought. Sakada syoichi and other seven Nobel Physical Prize winner are involved. The Academic research idea of Sakada syoichi and his "Sakada Model" had a huge impact on the development of the Japanese theoretical physics. Chapter two investigates the Japanese national strategy of science and technology. Based on the strategy of science and technology reflected from Japanese Congress Address given by Prime Ministers of Successive Dynasties, the thought of Japanese national strategy of science and technology is analyzed by the statistics and hackling of278original texts given by the Prime Ministers of Successive Dynasties so far. The thoughts of science and technology shown in the addresses include that science and technology is productive force, independent innovation, the harmony among the science and technology, human and nature, and sustainable development.Chapter three investigates the Japanese National educational thought. Based on the educational idea reflected from the policy addresses given by the Japanese Prime Ministers in the past dynasties, Japanese National educational thoughts are analyzed and studied. Four characteristics, which are persisting education founding, persisting educational reform, persisting humanism and persisting the integration of the production, the government and the school are shown in the Japanese national educational thoughts. Furthermore, attaching importance to personality education, juvenile education and education reform and persisting traditional cultural education have been four constant elements of Japanese national educational policy.Chapter four is the conclusion part, in which the unique characters of the spread and development of the Dialectics of Nature under the Japanese cultural background are concluded. The influence and value of the Dialectics of Nature in Japan are discussed. The enlightenment of the development of Japanese science and technology field are discussed as well.The appendix part includes the Japanese original article "Natural science and the Dialectics of Nature" written by Masukawa tosihide who won the Nobel Physical Prize in2008and the whole translation of the article by the author of this thesis.
