Analysis Of The Mainstream Technical Thought Of Hundred Schools In The Period Of Pre-Qin Dynasty

At present, the educational circles exist dispute whether China at ancient times exists "science" on the west meaning, but nobody can disregard the brilliantly glorious Chinese technique achievement at ancient times. Therefore, taking the technical thought of Pre-Qin Dynasty as the thinking object is exactly the meaning the Chinese philosophy of technical should have now.The mainstream technical thought of Hundred Schools in the period of Pre-Qin Dynasty does not have the rigorous structure like modern philosophy of the west. In fact, it is existing in the records in the Period of Pre-Qin Dynasty with the state of "dispersing" and "lurking". This situation makes us can't get a kind of integrity of conclusion from a few discussions about technology of Pre-Qin's thinkers. However, the former researches on the technical thought of Pre-Qin, sometimes, lack of macroscopic view carried out from every aspect such as history, society, economy, politics and military affairs etc; lack of taking each technical thought of Pre-Qin as a part of the whole system; lack of discussing the "basic" effect of the Pre-Qin's view of nature on technical thought; lack of discussing the "restrict" of the thinkers' life circumstance and society background in the period of Pre-Qin Dynasty on technical thought; lack of discussing the "limit" of the various Pre-Qin's core ideas and ultimate goals to technical thought, so we find it difficult to get the "true appearance" from the mainstream technical thought of Pre-Qin. For this reason, the main body of this book is taking the mainstream technical thought of Confucians, Daos, Moism, Legalism who are called "who takes four as one phase of main force of thought" as the study object, carefully sorting and in-depth analyzing on aspects which is limited in the nature basis of mainstream technical thought of Hundred Schools in the period of Pre-Qin Dynasty, social background constraints, main features and the ultimate purpose on technical thought. On the basis of the study above, the article explains each school, Confucians, Daos, Moism, Legalism need to abide by the standards of the technical value, "befitting Ren"," befitting Dao"," befitting love", "befitting law ", and takes establishment of their own ideal of a unified "new order" as the common nature of the Pre-Qin's mainstream technical thought.Reserch, taking the Chinese technical thought at ancient times as the object specially, is very weak, from the visual angle of the domestic philosophy of technology. Pre-Qin Dynasty is reckoned as the foundation period for ancient Chinese science and technology, and studying it deeply in this period is meaningful for the philosophy of technology on the basic research. In the meantime,the research on Pre-Qin mainstream technical thought of Hundred Schools not only provides cornerstone of the theory and guide for enhancing the study of the history of Chinese science and technology, but also play a great part in the research on Chinese history of ideas (history of philosophy).
