The Chronicle Of Chia-Li With Textual Criticism

As a complete chronicler research on Chia-Li by Chu Hsi, including its emergence, developments and transition, The Chronicle of Chia-Li with Textual Criticism made more comments on the related works, figures and events in the entire historical process, and described editions, forewords and contents of those existing works. Moreover, this thesis involved some topics that worth being noticed by academic profession and gave new commentaries and analysis, such as Chia-Li by Chu Hsi or not, some inscribed Chia-Lis in the southern Song Dynasty, Chia-Li Pien by Ying Pen in Yuan Dynasty, the edition filiation of Chia-Li I-chieh by Ch’iu Chun, etc. Based on examining and counting all the related works, this thesis, for the first time, provided a composite catalog of Chia-Li for the academic community.
