| There is an unbalanced development pattern in sports industry between Eastern, Middle and West China. And sports industry mostly distributed in developed provinces in east coastal area, such as "Beijing-Tianjin Area","Jiangsu-Zhejiang Shanghai Area" and "Pearl River Delta". However, sport industry is in starting phase in inland provinces and western region. Moreover, inner structure of sport industry is irrational and core industry has been lay behind relatively. Cultivate regional growth pole in sports industry by increasing leading industry with strong influence and guidance, breeding growth center with great radiometric force; the polarization and diffusion effect will spur on other relevant sport industries and regions and promote upgrading of the industrial structure, promote the coordinated development of all regions.Regional or industrial imbalanced development is objective fact in regional economies development. Research indicated that economic growth is started at some fast increased "pole" or "point". The polarization and diffusing effect of growth pole will lead regional economic development in a long period. Research considerations include:sort out Core-concept and basic theory by literature research; analyze the concept of regional sport industry; analyze necessity and important value, sum up the experience and problems in its development; cultivate tactics have been raised. Case study has been used.Taking growth pole theory as analysis tool, research method such as literature research, logic deduction, statistic, and comparative analysis have been adopted, research hypothesis of cultivating regional sports industrial growth pole, including elements of regional sports industrial growth pole, the sort out and breed tactics of regional sports industrial growth pole.This dissertation contains four aspects, six chapters. The first aspect (Chapter One): research ideas and theoretical principle. Summarize sport industrial research, literature review, research ideas. The second aspect (Chapter Two to Chapter Four):the main body. Summarize the theoretical principle of regional sports industrial growth pole; discuss the components of regional sports industrial growth pole; discuss the breed of regional sports industrial growth pole:leading industrial, growth centre network, sport industrial park. The third aspect (Chapter Five):case study, inspect and verify regional sports industrial growth pole by the case of sport industry in Sichuan Province. The fourth aspect (Chapter Six): conclusion. Draw a conclusion based on case study and analysis. To sum up, the conclusions include:(1) there is an obvious development gap between different regions and industrial structure is unreasonable, regional sports industrial growth pole need to be cultivated.(2) Regional sports industrial growth pole contains five components:leading industry, regional growth centre, sport industrial park, recourse and market, government department.(3) Guided by regional unbanked development strategy, sport industry in "Beijing-Tianjin Area","Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai Area" and "Pearl River Delta", expand rapidly, and become growth poles; sport industry in major cities in middle and western China growth fast and begin to take shape; the industry of sport good develop in a very high peed; cluster effect of sport industry improve fast.(4) Weigh by growth pole theory, problems and deficits can be seen in the development of regional sports industrial growth pole:core industries is weak and have been lay behind, leading industry is unreasonable; imbalanced planning; government did not play its role properly.(5) Base on in-depth analysis of current structural situation and contradicts, select industries with rich resources and accelerate the optimization and upgrading regional industrial structure.(6) Rely on core city, small and medium-sized cities, cultivate regional sports industrial growth pole network with different level, scale and size.
