Facing the severe employment situation of China’s special development period, underthe global downward pressure, analysis and research on the mechanism of college students’self-efficacy in the period of career preparation, can make up for the deficiency of thetraditional career education mode, and to intervene the college students’ career education andplanning, and to innovate their career education mode, in accordance with special conditions,has the extremely important theory significance and the practical significance. At the sametime, the successful employment experience, under the mode of the college students’ careereducation innovation, will also promote the cultivation and promotion of college students’career self-efficacy.The first part of the main body of this research has made a comprehensive and detailedcombing on the sense of career self-efficacy and the research of the career development firstly.The research has been reviewed, to summarize the static career theory, dynamic career theoryand social cognitive career theory, as well as the theory related to career developmentplanning. Through the research of literature review made by domestic and foreign scholars onthe current research status and shortage in this field, this research provides the theory supportand technology foundation for the following study.The second part of the main body of this research has constructed the researchframework on the basis of theoretical research and comprehensive review, and put forwardthe research content and hypothesis. The research target has been divided into two aspects,including the theoretical level and the problem level. It has been demonstrated that themechanism of career self-efficacy in the process of the individual career decision and choice.The third part of the main body of this research has carried out the empirical researchand come to the conclusion. This part concerned the determination of research variables, thechoice of the tools and revision, of the research methods according to the hypothesis of thestudy, the selection of the study sample, the implementation of several measurement, andmodel hypothesis test, etc.First, the determination of research variables. The research established the individualpersonality factors, environment support factors, career efficiency expectations, careeroutcome expectations, and career maturity as the research content. Second, the choice of the tools and revision of the scale. The research revised anadaptability revision about variable and its scale based on theoretical framework, so as tomake a better enhance on applicability and theoretical explanation about the special surveyinggroup. The revised scales have a high content validity and construct validity, and it was alsoconsistent with statistical significance associated with the measurement standard.Third, the research analyzed the relationship between the independent variables ofpersonality, environment support, career efficacy expectations, career outcome expectationsand demographic variables in the differences of demographic variables. The results show that,college students differ significantly mainly related to parents’ educational background andoccupational category.Forth, the research analyzed the impact from individual factors and environmentalfactors on the independent variables including the degree of individual career maturity, careerefficacy expectations variables, and career outcome expectations variables. The outcomeshowed that,proactive personality and perceived social support could well predict their careermaturity, career self-efficacy and career outcome expectations.Fifth, the research analyzed the impact from efficacy expectations and outcomeexpectations on the degree of individual career maturity. The result appears that the efficacyexpectations had significant main effects on the career maturity, and outcome expectationshadn’t significant main effects on the career maturity.Sixth, the research analyzed the impact from efficacy expectations play the intermediaryrole, during the process of individual factors and environmental factors predict on individualcareer maturity.Seventh, the research analyzed the impact from outcome expectations play the partialintermediary role, during the process of individual factors and environmental factors predicton individual career maturity.Eighth, the research analyzed the outcome expectations played a regulating role inintermediary impact from efficacy expectations of individual career maturity.The forth part of the main body of this research has taken related interventions, toimplement career education on college students, this special group, who are in the preparationperiod of career facing the present severe employment environment. The research proposedthe intervention recommendations of career education were based on the main ideas of SCCT,through the role of the efficacy expectations and outcome expectations in the framework ofthe career development. Finally, the research has carried out comprehensive discussion, summarized conclusionsas well as the innovation and limitation of the research, and put forward the prospect offurther research.
