These literary works have great values in social and artical area.Also,it conforms to the marketplace.All of these bring about a magical phenomenon which called Zhang Henshui’s phenomenon.He has double identities of writer and newsman.He’s not a pioneer of the advanced consciousness,but he disseminated advanced consciousness to everybody.He is full of nationalism and patriotism,and improves in the art area.His proses changed from interest to realism slowly.So he represented transition, mixture of popular literature and morden literature.Prose is suit to study writers’ spirit directly.Zhang Henshui’s proses reflected his system of values and life,so we should study his prose.This text shows us Zhang Henshui’s developing thought,explores the distance between Zhang Henshui and other artical denomination.It also expounds the relationship between Zhang Henshui and new literature.It studise the feature of Zhang Henshui’s prose,and got the conclusion,which shows the position and the effect of Zhang Henshui’s prose in the morden history of Chinese literature.This essay has four parts:preface,upper part,second half and conclusion. The preface is mainly about research achievement, current situation, thoughts and innovation of this essay. The upper part includes five chapters, by the developing of Zhang Henshui’s thought and the literary’s style.It takes some ways to study prose,such as to give an example,induction and so on.This paper summarizes the feature and tendency of Zhang Henshui’s prose through studying his life and literary work in every period.The second half includes four chapters, mainly about the characteristics and historic significance of Zhang Henshui’s prose.In this part,it talks about some questions,such as why Zhang Henshui’s prose is quested,the advantage and fault of his prose,the relationship of Zhang Henshui and other literary tributary,Zhang Henshui’s attitude to new literature,the meaning and function of his prose in morden literature history from sociology,communication,folklore,and so on.The upper part studies the growing trend of Zhang Henshui’s prose vertically, and the second half studies characteristics and position of Zhang Henshui’s prose horizontally,from these research, the value of prose’s thought,art and history is concluded.The conclusion is the summary of this essay.That in the history of morden popular literature,Zhang Henshui is the most typical writer,he is in accordance with the need of market,traditional esthetic conception,enlightenment,and he also played an important role in new morden literature. Zhang Henshui’s prose shows the developing of his heart totally,shows the process of his change from a Confucian scholar to a social activist,and shows the process of his learning to new literature,so his prose possesses important value in thought and art area,and also possesses important position in Chinese morden literary area.
