In this paper the research object is Huiyuan individual works of Ming Dynasty in two aspects of consideration.Firstly,as far as the scientific principles are concerned,it is necessary to find some proper middlemen in the study of literature internal and external influence, which should be a good combination. The tradition of "Zhi Ren Lun Shi" can yet be regarded as a kind of strategy, but under the modern academic over-fine division of labor system, it is often separated into two main parts of history and text reflected in most literature writings, namely the framework and mode of the three or four paragraphs in which the background, the author’s life, works achievement (content and form) are for clues. We pay attention to Huiyuan individual works with the purpose of seeking communication both internal and external in literary studies.Huiyuan individual works are linked with the imperial, political, social, cultural, and the external dimensions but the rich text is undoubtedly the inner core in literary studies. Huiyuan individual works play a great role of intermediacy.Secondly, as far as it goes, studies of imperial examination and literature in Ming Dynasty need to be deepened. The previous modern literature systems and concepts are right but not more than this. The imperial group as the imperial and literary double subject deserves attention.Huiyuan individual works embody culture or study of the article, a proper concept of not too big nor too small. This paper focuses on five chapters. They are respectively Huiyuan groups in the Ming Dynasty, the version in Huiyuan individual works, the type of writing, the relationship between the Eight-Part Essay and Huiyuan individual works as well as Huiyuan identity and writing.Chapter one states the basic characteristics of Ming Dynasty imperial examinations and the particularity of Huiyuan scholarly honor on the basis of imperial history in Tang and Song Dynasty, investigates and analyses biography, imperial information of 87 Huiyuans in Ming Dynasty.Multirank, continuity and uniformity of the test system, stylized text content, evaluation criterion make Huiyuan and other high-end faculty names scarce or unavailable. The noble position represents the national mainstream ideology. But it is unavoidable that thoughts tend to be orthodox and knowledge structure tends to be slightly single. As one of most important representatives in the imperial groups, Huiyuan really embodies the functions of selecting talents and educating talents.Chapter two examines and corrects the editions of the 87 Huiyuan individual works, among which 49 people have Jicun that can be found at present,17 people have Jicun recorded that can not be found at present,21 people can be examed without Jicun. It follows that at least three quarters of Huiyuan had collection of poems. This condition explains that social elites group still regard traditional style as the main carrier of words. In different periods, such large number of Huiyuan individual works were just existent in Mid Ming Dynasty due to its social stability. Many celebrities were born and they created lots of masterpieces in high quality. Because of violence and social changes in the early and late stage of Ming Dynasty, the number of works was relatively small. With regard to the version of the recorded works, we have made evaluation and classification one by one.Generally speaking, their editors are the authors’ friends and their publication is made by their descendants or the well-known officials.Chapter three focuses on 39 Huiyuans’individual works in terms of culture. Characteristics of their works are as follows. Firstly, writing and style division are based on the actual function and form system, which is Huiyuan’s creative thinking. Public and chronicle genres have a number of advantages. Although the amount of lyrical poems is huge, they are of medium quality. Modern-styled poetry is up to 80% and seven-character octave outshines others. The four steps in modern-styled poetry, such as opening developing, changing and concluding correspond to minds of the elites in the imperial examination who are used to thinking in Eight-Parts Essay and meet the needs of the officals who like to drink and write peoms.Secondly, imperial article is in small number but in great variety. Structure type is distintive. As a kind of highly important examination literary style, Cewen especially, fully embodies Huiyuan’s economic study.Chapter four is about the relationship between the two styles in ancient essays and current essays. In the Ming Dynasty, traditional ancient essays can be viewed as a personified, socialized and daily version. However,Eight-Parts Essay used in tests is a nationalized,examine-targeted and stylized version,in which there is a degree of psychological convergence, difference in performance and practice, synchronicity in evolution, mutual permeability and stratification in writing practice, particularly in Huiyuan individual works. Both Wangao and Tang Shunzhi represent the mainstream in the ancient and current essay.Zhen Zi Ji is a magnificent masterpiece because its literary form is neither orthodox nor unexpressive, which is in line with the dual directions in current essays. In Jin Chun Jithe author typically reflects the mutual benefit and mutual permeability between them. After the Longwan Revolution, changes of ancient prose became more diverse and drastic in the Ming Dynasty.Huiyuan were not as typical as they would have been. This is an "unified world of literature" performance.Chapter five tries to demonstrate the subject identity in Huiyuan individual works as for the connection between imperial examination and official’s achievement.First of all, this chapter discusses characteristics of two professional genres, that is, Hanlin Academy and JingYan lecture.Little attention was paid to Hanlin Academy before.Huiyuan is explained as an unprofessional writing in two periods. Before the Ming Dynasty, Huiyuan was in political and cultural mainstream position. Wukuan is an outstanding representative. After the Ming Dynasty,Huiyuan showed hesitation, close to the conditions in the modern times. This reflects the different identities of Huiyuan in individual works and confirms the instantaneously changing orthodox culture in Ming Dynasty.
