ObjectiveTo observe the analgesic effect of electroacupuncture (EA) in dysmenorrhea rats.MethodsForty healthy SD female rats (weight200-250g) aged from two to three-month-old were randomly divided into a normal group, a model group, a electroacupuncture group and lbuprofen group,10 rats in each group. The rats in the last three groups were given Diethylstilbestrol combined with Oxytocin to prepare the models of dysmenorrheal and in the normal group were given the same dose of saline. Electroacupuncture group was treated with electroacupuncture (EA) at "Sanyinjiao" (SP6) and "Guanyuan" (CV04) for ten days, once a day, and the rest operations were same like the other groups. The writhing behaviors and the content of TNF-a、IL-2、5-HT and substance P(sp) in serum of the rats in each group were observed and recorded within 30 mins at the eleventh dayResultsCompared with the control group the number of the writhing behaviors and the content of TNF-a.、IL-2、5-HT、substance P(sp) in serum in the electroacupuncture group was decreased significantly (P<0.05).ConclusionThe electroacupuncture has a good effect on the analgesic for primary dysmenorrhea. |
