| Objective:Our research aim to quantitative evaluate the efficacy and safety of the combination therapy for AR by "helium-neon laser " therapy and "bi san zhen acupuncture" therapy, by objective indicators.Methods:We randomly divided 64 AR subjects into treatment group and control group (each n=32).Treatment group was treated with both "helium-neon laser " therapy and "bi san zhen acupuncture" therapy, and the other with "bi san zhen acupuncture" therapy only. Before and after treatment immediately, the clinical curative effect was evaluated by symptom checklist scores/Specificity IgE/eosinophilic granulocyte. Safety indexes were observed of the moment throughout the whole course of study. All of the research data was put into excel form to establish database, and data analysis and describe by SPSS19.0.Results:1.There are no significant differences for sex/age and course of disease. There was comparable between groups in those information.2. The inter-group comparison detected distinct differences on symptom checklist scores/Specificity IgE and eosinophilic granulocyte between pre-treatment and post-treatment in the two groups(P<0.05).3. After treatment, the symptom checklist scores changed from 6.50 ±2.15 to 3.27±1.13 in the treatment group, while 6.23±1.85 and 4.32 ±1.87 in the control group. And both of them have a statistically differences(P<0.05). It shows the treatment group has a better results compared with control group.4. There is no side effects in the two groups, which shows that, it is both safe to treat AR "helium-neon laser " therapy and "bi san zhen acupuncture" therapy.Conclusion:Combination therapy by "helium-neon laser " therapy and "bi san zhen acupuncture" therapy, is a new combined therapy for AR, which has many advantages other therapy can not analogy with, such as more efficient/easy to operate/safe and clean/easily popularized widely. It can provide high quality evidence-based medical evidence for making standardized external treatment for aged AR. |
