Objection:This research is to explore the relation between the level of bood lipid(including indivudual lipid values and lipid ratios) and the severity of coronary artery stenosis in order to demonstrate the value of cardiovascular risk factors, which is helpful for further prevention and treatment of coronary heart diease. Methods:By retrospective case analysis, we studied361cases in the cardiology department in Hua Shang hospital, who were operated on coronary angiography from Januarary2010to Auguest2010. We devided the patients to CAD group and control group according to the results and coronary angriography. Patients’peripheral blood lipid was examined by routine assay. Lipid ratio LDL-C/HDL-C、TG/HDL-C、TC/HDL-C、 ApoB/ApoA、ApoB/HDL-C were caculated using the results. Sigificance analysis about the lipid and lipid ratio was carried out between CAD group and control group. The correlation study within the CAD group between the lipid, lipid ratio and the Gensini score was also analyzed. Results:1. Significant differences are found between CAD group and control group in the clinical background such as age、sex、smoking、 hypertension, diabetes(P<0.05); No significant differences are found between Cr、UA、TBIL(P>0.05).2. Differences of TC、LDL-C、ApoA、Lpa、Non-HDL are found between the CAD group and contro group(P<0.05), no significant differences about the TG(P>0.05), there are significant differences of Non-HDL、ApoA and ApoB(P<0.01).3. There are remarkable differences between two groups in the levels of lipid ratios, such as LDL-C/HDL-C、TC/HDL-C、ApoB/ApoA、ApoB/HDL-C (P<0.01), difference is also detected about the TG/HDL-C(P<0.05).4. HDL-C and ApoA showed strong negetive correlation with Gensini Scores(P<0.01),while LDL-C showed positive correlation with Gensini Scores(P<0.05) and ApoB、Non-HDL showed strong positve one(P<0.01).5. Lipid ratios, LDL-C/HDL-C、TC/HDL-C、ApoB/ApoA、ApoB/HDL-C showed strong positive correlation with Gensini Scores (P<0.01), TG/HDL-C also showed positive correlation with Gensini Scores(P<0.05).Conclusions1. TC、LDL-C、ApoB、Lpa、Non-HDL are risk factors of coronary heart disease, among which LDL-C showed a positive correlation (P<0.05), ApoB and Non-HDL showed an strong positive correlation with the severity of coronary atherosclerosis(P<0.01). TC、TG and Lpa showed no correlation with the severity of coronary atherosclerosis (P>0.05).2. HDL-C and ApoA have protective effects and have strong negative correlation with the severity of coronary atherosclerosis(P<0.01).3. Lipids ratios, LDL-C/HDL-C、TG/HDL-C、TC/HDL-C、ApoB/ApoA、ApoB/HDL-C are also proved to be risk factors of coronary heart disease. LDL-C/HDL-C、TC/HDL-C、 ApoB/ApoA、ApoB/HDL-C have strong positive correlation with the severity of coronary atherosclerosis(P<0.01) while TG/HDL-C have positive correlation with the severity of coronary atherosclerosis(P<0.05).4. Compared with indivuadual lipids, the lipid ratio that contains risk and protective factors can provide us more information about the lipid metablism of our body, it is more accurate for the prediction of the severity of coronary artery stenosis.
