| Objective:Gastric cancer is one of the most common tumors of the digestive tract.A number of studies have shown that serum lipids are correlated with the prognosis of gastric cancer.Subsequently,it has been gradually found that lipid ratios can reflect the changes of abnormal lipid metabolism earlier, more sensitive and accurate than individual lipid. In this study, the changes of blood lipid ratios in patiens with gastric cancer after surgery were investigated to define whether the level of serum lipid ratios had an impact on the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer after surgery,so as to further provide a new idea for the therapeutic effect and prognosis of gastric cancer. Methods:Retrospectively collecting and analyzing the clinical characteristic of patients confirmed as gastric cancer by pathological or cytology in the First Hospital of Jilin University from June 2015 to June 2020.A total of153 patients were included who were excluded from combined with other tumors, hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease and other diseases with abnormal lipid metabolism.Through the medical record query system or telephone follow-up,analysis of patient’s age, gender, somking status, alcohol consumption status,BMI,differentiated degree,Lauren’s typing, state of lymph node metastasis,TNM staging, and three kind of serum lipid ratios with prognosis of gastric cancer. The three lipid ratios are generated from total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDLC)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDLC),which were AI,THR and LHR.AI=(TC-HDLC)/HDLC,THR=TG/HDLC,LHR=LDLC/HDLC.The SPSS26.0 software was used to analyze the data, and the chi-square test was used to analyze the correlation between serum lipid ratios level and clinical characteristics of gastric cancer patients after postoperation.Kaplan-Meier survival curve was used for univariate analysis, and Cox proportional risk model was used for multivariate analysis.Two-tailed P values <0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.Results:1.BMI was positve correlated with AI、THR and LHR,the higher of BMI was,the higher the lipid ratios were; The history of alcohol consumption was negative correlated with AI and LHR,patients with a history of alcohol cosumption had lower AI and LHR.2.AI and LHR of postoperative gastric cancer patients was significantly correlated with OS,the higher the ratio was,the shorter OS was,and the two were not significantly correlated with PFS.THR was no correlation with OS or PFS.3.Cox multivariate regression analysis was performed on the indicators of statistical significance in univariate analysis, and the result showed that AI was an independent prognostic factor in gastric cancer.Conclusion:1.BMI was positve correlated with AI、THR and LHR;The history of alcohol consumption was negative correlated with AI and LHR.2.The lipids ratios of AI and LHR in postoperative patients with gastric cancer were significantly correlated with OS,but not with PFS.The higher AI and LHR was,and the shorter OS was.THR was not correlated with OS or PFS.3.AI was an independent risk factor for the prognosis of postoperative patients with gastric cancer. |
