Born into a family of TCM, Professor Wang was deeply influenced by his father in the shape of his academic ideas. He has now engaged in medical practice for nearly sixty years. His father was a famous doctor practicing medicine in the local area, influenced by his family, Professor Wang came into contact with TCM at his early age. In his clinical treatment, Professor Wang focuses on the spleen and stomach and emphasizes the key roles of conservation and prevention of disease in terms of making people enjoy long life. His academic ideas derives from the following facts:studying "Huangdi Neijing"at his early age, following in his father’s footsteps and practicing medicine independently at twenty, and becoming an apprentice to the master Chen Shenwu.
