"Life cannot have group". By means of medium,social development has several thousands of years in history, while time and technology innovations have changed social manners. In digital society, social media, social business, social service and social product have been changing the relationships betwee n human and world, which proved the internal demand of social animal that establish contact with each other across over time and space.The topic of this paper originates from the automotive user interface design knowledge system and electric vehicle information servic e system design project supported by the National Key Laboratory of advanced design and manufacture for vehicle body in Hunan University. This research focuses on two basic theoretical questions. Firstly, how to explore the nature relationship to different network group interaction types according to social behavior and psychology. Based on social behavior, what are the key design features,design strategies, design basis to social interface and how to influence and promote social experience.S econdly, social media applications and services embodies the relationship between human to human,human to material and material to materia l, so how to use social media organization and structure of information content, form and the interactive way to guide the user behavior, planning and expand information service of social cars.The main research methods involves case analysis, type analysis, social network analysis, anthropology qualitative research methods,and cases including "Benz Twtter Race", "Volkswagen Smile Drive", "Google Waze" and the world’s leading social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr,Foursquare etc.In order to understand and acquire driver knowledge and their lifestyle,this study adopts anthropology of qualitative research methods including "lifestyle questionnaire", "life story narrati ve", "field exploration and interviews " and so on.The main content of the research includes as follow: Chapter I proposes the research background based on the digital era supported by technology and society.Meanwhile,the paper defines research objects and key terms, summarized the research insufficiency by reviewed overseas and domestic research status, proposes the key problems which this paper emphasized, and gives the research method and technical route. From multiple disciplines of perspectives including the origin of social media development,information system design study, interaction design ontology and design paradigm, Chapter II tries to pose social design path from groups types and groups interactions in sociology, puts forward group-centered research analysis. Based on the study of social schema and affordance theory, Chapter III unifies four social affordance design as categorical methods to symbiosis interaction social design as holistic method though the bridge of interface artifact. To explore and deepen social car service development in symbiosis interaction social design, Chapter IV expands the method to the specific application context in social car,using actual cases to verify the feasibility of the proposed conclusion. Applying and verifying the conclusion of the research,Chapter V combines two design projects-- The Knowledge System of Automobile Based on User Interface Design and The Social Car Design Practice of "Joy Drive" based on social media.The main contributions of this paper are mainly the following three aspects:First, this study attempts to apply group-centered design research framework, standardizes and improves the social design theory, and carries out corresponding social design research by location group sharing, event group building and relationship group empathizing.According to the group interaction process,this paper extracts the participation, communication, interpersonal and activity interaction design factors. By borrowing from self-organization theory and emergence of behavior,this study reveals that the key to social experience design is social energy transfer and emotion joint from the psychological lev el and social level in individual group interaction,and validated that group prototype is a common attribute of group collaboration and social experience.Second, this paper creatively combines affordance theory with social schema theory, tries to transform social schema theory of interaction mode, interaction tenor and interaction field into the design space and design attributes, including three social design hierarchies of “visual forms- social behavior- psychological experience”, constructs “social schemata- social affordance- social experience” as symbiosis interaction social design research.According the point to the interface artifacts from four aspects of UGC,design provided, design feature and design basis,this paper summarizes 15 design strategies of participation affordance, interpersonal affordance,communication affordance and activities affordance.Third, this paper discusses many interactive models including car to people, people to car, car to car in social car.Combined with application and specific case, this paper puts forward the design strategies of four experience factors of scenario experience, interactive experience, narrative experience, symbols experience and three car social affordance design method in location sharing, events building and relationship empathizing from information architecture, interaction design, interface design.This paper develops car users interface knowledge system based on Web, applies research findings to "joy drive" design case, and puts forward the users participatory design method and procedure to promote social design.In conclusion, the contemporary design is from product style design paradigm to service and experience design paradigm. How to use social media to improve service and product experience is the concerning to contemporary designers. This paper attempts to start from a multi-disciplinary perspective, uses soci ological theory to broaden the intension and extension of social design research. By deriving of the theoretical level, the paper constructs the logical framework and design tools of social design,providing a new ideas and research methods to social design. In this paper, some conclusions about social group interaction research involved in social media not only expand the scope of study in this field, improve the design characteristic, user social behavior supported in social research framework, can also become a social design strategies and design principle.At the same time, the conclusions of this study will also help designers provide guidance for the design of construction.
