The Research On Development Patterns And Planning Strategy Of Rural Settlements In Peripheral Areas Of Xi’an Metropolitan Regions

When the rural urbanization, while traditional met meets all sorts of rural industrialization, a real mess and people about the future of various gloomy mood, it seems destined to inevitable. However, with the period of rapid changes in rural settlement space, it is a rare opportunity and an unprecedented challenge to reconstruct rural settlement space with the countryside mode, so as to reconstruct the countryside life with fields and gardens, to preserve green hills and waters, and blue sky and white clouds, and to enjoy family and neighbourhoods.Xi’an, a city which lies in the center of Guanzhong Plain, has great historical heritages and unique environment. There are lots of rural settlements with special spaces and customs. Under the globalization, modernization and urbanization, rural settlements around Xi’an are losing their special customs and spaces. For instance, many traditional rural objects are vanishing gradually. And the rural settlement space tends to be the same as cities by village renewal day by day.In this thesis, rural settlement round Xi’an, as the study object, is analyzed about relevant theories and ways of space controlling mechanism by the author. Meanwhile, the systematic comprehension of rural settlement is widened, the study angle of systematic science and dwelling environment is optimized, and both the theoretical basis and technology framework are studied in order to guide and control rural settlement planning. For all of the above, the author hopes to do his share for the construction of rural settlement space study, so as to realize rural settlement with beautiful environment, developed economy, harmonious society, melded rural-city, and advanced civilization. There are 3 parts, including 10 chapters in this thesis. The first part contains 2 chapters, which bring out study origin and basis research. This part includes study origin, study meanings, concept definition, and the general research to study survey, contains, and ways of rural settlement under multi-field angle. Moreover, the multi-theory basis framework of rural settlement is studied by the author.The second part contains 3 chapters, which brings out system analysis and development hint. This part that contains the whole analysis, dynamic analysis, and multi-dimension analysis of rural settlement space system, is the basis of system design ways after. Furthermore, the construction experience and development mode of rural settlement is analyzed home and abroad in order to find its inward logic and rules, which would cast the development ways of rural settlement around Xi’an.The third part contains 5 chapters, which brings out theory construction and practice study. The multi-dimensions research is put out about the development history, region condition, rural-city relationship, and space-form to rural settlement around Xi’an. Meanwhile, the construction of value, goal and estimation system, which is called space development system, is studied about rural settlement around Xi’an. Moreover, the controlling mechanism is analyzed including 3 ways. The first way is mechanism constitution that contains system constitution, factor mechanism, and mechanism function. The second way is system analysis that contains environment analysis, goal analysis and structure analysis. The third way is controlling methods that contain controlling approaches, stage division, and form division. Furthermore, there are 3 sides to reconstruct the rural settlement development approaches around Xi’an, including development mode, space planning ways, and implement-protection systems.
