As fullface tunnel boring machine is one of sixteen projects which are strong supported by the state department for promoting national equipment manufacturing industry, aiming at manufacturing physical protype and striving for realization of seriation and industrialization since2015. Although there were some achievement got by abroad, almost be kept secret for business reasons. Therefor it is necessary to do much research on structure analysis and function simulation for our fullface tunnel boring machine development independencely.Base on digital mockup technology. This research focuses on several aspects as structure analysis, function simulation and virtual realization to real construction of fullface tunnel boring machine. Cutter’s rock breakage mechanism was discussed. Cutting simulation model and wear model were founded in this dissertation. Rear shield grouting system’s working mechanism and important components’ dynamic mechanical propeties were analized. A virtual construction system of fullface tunnel boring machine was reseached and developed. The dissertation includes the following aspects in detail:(1)Disc cutter’s rock breakage mechanism and force acting model were analized. Focus on EPBΦ6.28m fullface tunnel boring machine, a rock breakage finite element mode was founded. Single disc cutter rock breakage simulation and adjacent disc cutter rock breakage simulation were calculated with setting of real working condition. Penetration rate, granite stress distribution results under different normal force and optimal cutter distance were obtained. A application program of cutters’layout optimal design and simulation is developed based on nonlinear multi-objective mathematical model with complex constraints.(2) Finite element analysis model of cutting tool working was founded based on real tools used in Shenyang subway project, working process of two kinds of cutting tools(scraper and main cutting tool) has been simulated, influences of different working parameters caused during cutting process had been discussed based on simulation results. Based on measurement of real tool and simulation results, a wear model of cutting tool had been founded in this dissertation.(3)By means of anlysis on rear shield grouting mechanism and grout diffusion radius, a numerical model about grout diffusion had been founded based real grouting process parameters in this dissertation. Fluid dynamics analysis of grouting process had been simulated. The results provided references for grouting parameter choosing in real construction. By usage of particle system technology, three dimension scence of grouting process in virtual reality had been well simulated.(4)Digital mockup of EPBΦ6.28m fullface tunnel boring machine had been built up, vitual assembly with immersion feeling had been done in vitual space in this research. Mainly components’ load in working had been discussed in this dissertation, and FEM simulation had been analized according to different working conditions. Dynamical simalution of segment erector which fixed on rear shield had been analized, and ragid-flex analysis of segment grab had been done in this research.(5)Virtual construction system of Fullface tunnel boring machine which has proprietary intellectual property rights and advanced human-computer interaction function had been researched and developed in this dissertation. The virtual system can provide immersion simulation of fullface tunnel boring machine’s operation and construction, not only be a real tunnel working process’s plan analysis tool additionally, but also be a virtual manipulate training for operation person of fullface tunnel boring machine, therefore it has significant research value and economic benefit.
