With the continuous development of computer technology and multimedia technology, the application of computer virtual and reality technology is being more and more popular. Virtual technology is a computer technology which can simulate the new environment. Through the appropriate hardware, it can bring us real feelings include hearing, tasting and touching which makes us feel it is real. Virtual technology can make the simulation of actual process operation before the real operation and thus reduce the risk of accident rate in the operation. It can also reduce the cost of the loss during the experiment, and it be used to simulate the real environment which is hard to be built. Cutting machine is one of the most commonly used equipments in industrial production. It is usually used to cut the required types on the steel plate. The virtual system of remote operatiing cutting machine based on virtual reality put the virtual reality technology into the industrial production. It can simulate the real remote operation of cutting machine and give the operator related information. It can be used to train the operators, simulate the cutting process and thus reduce cost and improve production efficiency.This paper is based on the projection of the remote operation system of cutting machine. It realized the remote operations of cutting machine and gave a method of analysis the NC codes and the graphic show. It can also support the format of DXF which is created by the AutoCAD software. In this module it can extract the closed entities from the DXF file and give the right clockwise or counterclockwise order for cutting. And it also can create the appropriate NC codes for the DXF file so that can reduce the complexity of coding. In this system it realized the graphical editor for the operators which can give the appropriate graphic of the selected or editing codes and thus can improve the coding efficiency and reduce the risk of making errors. The nets of parts module provides the operator functions that can repeat the single part or nets different part in one steel plate, it can also make the operator to rotate , mirror or scale the parts or view the gap of the parts .It can be seen that all the functions provided can improve the efficiency and reduced costs.In this paper, it realized the virtual system based on the remote operation system which can simulate the real remote operation of cutting machine. The virtual system is created by Vega API and Lynx software which can accelerate the process of coding and building the virtual system. The virtual system can be controlled by the remote operation system and give the right feedback. It simulates the real cutting machine including the motion, cutting parts simulation and so on. At the same time, it realized the function in Cutting Automation which is called automatic nesting. Though study the position strategy, here culls the strategy of the no-fit-polygon which is created from the polygon tracks. And it also realized the auto nesting system using SA alignment .
