The metallogenic belts of northern Three-River area located the south of Jinshajiang area, and is the north outspread area of the famous Three-River copper polymetallic metallogenic belts .The belts belong to the important segment of Tethyan giant metallogenic domain on regional structure aspect, and is one of area to realize breakthrough in west exploration likely. The belts have already placed the former four in the twenty-four important metallogenic belts of whole country by the Ministry of Land and Resources. The structure-magma-liquid activitives are complex, mantle-crust interaction and crust deformation are strong, and have predominant metallogenic conditions in this area.In recent years, high-resolution, strong penetrability geology, physical geography, geochemistry, remote sensing and etc are carry out to explore in this area. These exploration works accumulated great deal of exploration data for geological exploration and metallogenic conditions analyse. Therefore using modern computer information disposal means to extract and colligate metallogenic information, put forward exploration target, predict potential resources, of which become imperative assignment for regional exploration and mineral resource exploration arrangement in this area.The research based of summarization and accept metallogenic information extraction and metallogenic prediction, using multi-information and multi-method means, guide regional metallogeny theory, GIS technology to extract metallogenic information. According to metallogenic model concluded metallogenic information. Using the method of grade weight of evidence to delineated target areas. Using the method of abundance model to estimate mineral resources. On the base of orientational and quantitative prediction to put forward advices of regional ore resources exploration in this area. Some of innovations and conclusions are as follows:Collected and cleaned up ancient geology mineral resources data in study area completely, integrated field geological investigation and laboratory study to analyse the relation between evolvement history of geological structure and metallogenic, and to put forward series of metallogenic evolvement, and to conclude metallogenic modle and geology exploration modle in study area.1)Regional structure study is carried out by using physical, geochemical, remote sensing data ,it is considered that study area lies north-east structure, and metallogenic is controlled by construct equidistance . A high anomaly region of metallogenic is between two ore concentration areas, and regarde as emphases breakthrough area for exploration in study area for the future.2)It is concluded the disciplinarian of spatial and temporal distribution by using quantitative analyses of regional metallogenic conditions. Using GIS technology to extract available metallogenic information. On the base of these information to calculate the compositive weight of evidence for kinds of metallogenic conditions.Weight abnormity of metallogenic conditions as the evidence factor to delineated exploration target areas of every kind of deposit. This method is combined the weight of evidence with metallogenic conditions tightly, thereby resolved question to separate the metallogenic modle and quantitative prediction.3)It is estimate that copper resources are 7412730 ten thousand tons, molybdenum resources are 8556180 tons, zinc resources are 7868900 tons, lead resources are 139290 tons by using estimate method of abundance.4)According to the geology investigation work request of this research, and based on the orientational and quantitative prediction to put forward advices of mineral resources exploration arrangement in northern Three-River area. These advices means to arrange 1∶5 ten thousand mineral resources perspective investigations, include 11 mapsheets, the area is 4949.25km~2; 20 mineral resources prediction areas and 9 mineral exploration areas. According to the budget rule of China Geology Survey to calculate total outlay of exploration arrangement is 11697.03 ten thousand dollars. The results realized“orientational, quantitative and uniform arrangement”three prognosis rules. The metallogenic prognosis provide a correct scientific basis for the mineral exploration arrangement work in region.
