Wulatezhongqi area is located in the North margin of North China platform, acrosstwo first–order structural units that the North China platform and the geosynclinal foldsystem of central Inner Mongolia, northwest of study area is nearby the Tianshangeosyncline fold system. The formation is exposed more complete, Most of the regionaltectonic is north–east, north–west direction. Since the Archean, the magmatism movestempestuously and repeatedly with multiple tectonic movements, magmatic rocks arewidely distributed, so have large–scale metallogenic conditions and potential. Develop theexploration of mineral resources in the study area, comprehensive assessment of geologicalcondition and potential for iron and polymetallic metallization in the area, delineatd theresource perspective areas, achieving breakthrough on polymetallic mineral exploration,relieving the pressure of polymetallic mineral resources shortage. Protecting sustaineddevelopment of national and inner Mongolia autonomous region economy, It is importantand practical significance that to strengthen the research on fast prospecting and evaluationmethod in the study area.The thesis work collected1:200000geological map, geochemical data and remotesensing data and1:50000aeromagnetic data with the research area. Digitize geologicalmap and geochemical data in Mapgis software, process aeromagnetic data in Geosoftsoftware, those process include the reduction to the pole, directional derivative, spacecontinuation, analytical–signal analysis and residual anomaly, and analyzed the favorablemetallogenic information. Research on Geochemical Characteristics of the area, determinethe distribution of geochemical anomaly and extract the favorable metallogenicinformation of iron and polymetal. Process remote sensing images in ENVI software,extract the iron alteration information in the area, and use comprehensive information tointerpret the fault structure in the area. With the guidance of regional geoglicalmetallogenic theory, Analysis of the regional metallogenic regularity and typical depositcharacteristic, determine the main type of minerals in the region, using characteristicanalysis method to metallogenic Prediction of mineral resource, delineate out favorablemetallogenic targets.The main results of this paper as follows: On the basis of regional fault structureinterpretation with comprehensive information, we deduced nine deep faults andthirty-eight major faults. We extract10major geochemical element distribution characteristics, extract the iron alteration information. A multi-source geologicalinformation spatial database was built based on Mapgis software, Using characteristicanalysis method and the regional geoglical metallogenic regularity, delineate out elevenfavorable metallogenic areas and the targets. On the basis of metallogenic pattern researchfor all kinds regional typical deposits, the main mine type with good foreground forprospecting in the area are iron ore, copper, lead, zinc, gold, manganese, nickel, rare earthore. The main mine prospecting direction for iron ore, copper, lead, zinc, rare earth ore aremetamorphosed sedimentary type which ore-forming materials come from underwatervolcanic eruption, skarn type deposit is usual ore type for iron and copper ore, effusivesedimentation and weathered Ore are the main mine prospecting direction for iron andmanganese ore, for copper and nickel deposits are magmatic tpye, for golden ishydrothermal quartzes vein type.
