Empirical Research On Strategy Of Regional Land Resources Usage

Along with the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization, the issue of land supply and demand is gradually highlighted. The relationship between people and land grows increasingly tense, and the land utilization way which is at the sacrifice of resources and environment can no longer meet the needs of economic and social development. Rational utilization of land has presented itself to be of strategic importance to China's modernization drive.Firstly this thesis explains the background, significance of strategic study on regional land. Regarding land resources as a complex of nature, economy and society, the author argues that an overall analysis and research of the land use program, regional development direction, function and space structure layout are required before the regional land use policy can be made. Secondly the thesis makes a comparative study of the overseas and domestic land use and finds that with the evolving of industrialization and modernization, instead of being confined within the area of agriculture, forestry and mineral resources, the issue of land use has become a focus research subject by experts in environment, ecology and urbanization. Being comprehensive, cross-subject and marginal, the strategic study of land use strategy shall not strictly follow the theory of traditional overall planning guided by comprehensive analysis; instead, it shall start from discovering the relationship among things and solving the problems in land use. According to this thinking, the thesis tries to construct the basic theory and methodology in the land utility strategic planning research based on a comprehensive study of environmental resources economics, regional geography, land planning, urban planning, system control and environmental ecology.This article also, in accordance with the strategic planning theories and methods, analyses the land use strategy of the city of Zhumadian based on the example of the third overall planning of Zhumadian. It adopts the research methodology of combining theoretical and empirical study, qualitative and quantitative study, time and space, and uses the identification system of"from regional system to land resources","from history to the present"and"from overall strategy to regional strategy". It clearly points out the main conflicts appearing in the land use such as upgrade of industrial structure, contradiction between land use and limited resources caused by the development of urbanization and industrialization. It also points out some problems such as extensive land use and unsustainable use of some land. The article analyzes the importance of regional development strategy to the land use and clearly states the limits in the land use of Zhumadian by adopting the methods of comprehensive division and functional division. It sets down the rural and urban land use strategy of Zhumadian and puts up with rural and urban lay-out of land by adopting SWOT methods. According to the industrial structure characteristics, it frames evaluation index system of intensive land use of Zhamadian. By analyzing relationship between the land use change and environmental ecology, it tries to set up the index system of effect on ecology brought by land use of Zhumadian and puts up with 6 models of land use which will be good to environment. The article also puts up with land space management measures by confirming the sensitive factors of land use.
