Executiveness theory is a branch from management theory, and executiveness in enterprises is a hot topic on which both scholars and businessmen focus in recent years. As to China's insurance enterprises (CIEs), there's also a great need to enhance the poor executiveness as soon as possible. The result of investigation demonstrates that the influential factors of executiveness in CIEs mainly involve four dominants as management, staff, job task and job environment. Analyzing on those factors, we can see that staff's work willing is the determinant of the executiveness in CIEs, and organization's regulatory degree has great influence on it. The situation of the executiveness in insurance enterprises is determined by the joint-force of the impetus and the deterrent from the influential factors.The situation of the executiveness in insurance enterprises may be evaluated by using the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP). The evaluation result demonstrates that the executiveness in CIEs is still low nowadays, and some measures against the important points and the weak points must be taken to enhance the executiveness. According to the analysis, since there's close correlation between executiveness and competitiveness in insurance enterprises, the latter may be enhanced with the former simultaneously.It can be seen from the evaluation that the executiveness in an insurance enterprise is a whole system, so the enterprise staff should establish systems thinking idea and discard any biased and short-sighted thoughts in order to enhance the executiveness. Concrete measures may focus on the main points such as executive willing, executive behaviors, executive organization and management, and executive institutional system. With the executiveness enhanced, the competitiveness may also be improved. This may contribute to the sustainable development of CIEs.The demonstration of the dissertation is divided into eight chapters. Chapter 1 is an introduction to the background, significance, writing methods and the innovation points of the dissertation. Chapter 2 is a summary of the research situation about executiveness domain. Chapter 3 tells us a survey of the executiveness in CIEs and points out a need for better executiveness in CIEs. Chapter 4 analyses the influential factors of the executiveness in CIEs and conducts a thorough research on the formation and operation mechanism of the executiveness in CDEs. Chapter 5 establishes a model based on Fuzzy AHP for evaluating the executiveness in CIEs and then evaluates the executiveness of some CIEs by the model as an example. Chapter 6 is a quantitative analysis of the correlation between the executiveness and the competitiveness in some CIEs, which gives us a scientific demonstration on the hypothesis and qualitative analyses on the past research in the domain. Chapter 7 proposes systematic thoughts to enhance the executiveness and points out that some measures about executive willing, executive behaviors, executive organization and management, and executive institutional system must be taken to enhance the executiveness. Chapter 8 is a summary for the whole dissertation followed by a direction for deeper research.The main innovation points of the dissertation are as follows: The author analyses the influential factors of the executiveness in CIEs and conducts a thorough research on the formation and operation mechanism of the executiveness in insurance enterprises. Then a model based on Fuzzy AHP for evaluating the executiveness in CIEs has been established in the dissertation. After that, the author conducts a quantitative analysis of the correlation between the executiveness and the competitiveness in the dissertation, which gives a scientific demonstration on the hypothesis and qualitative analyses on the past research in the domain. Finally, the author proposes systematic thoughts to enhance the executiveness. Based on system archetype analysis, the author points out that some measures about executive willing, executive behaviors, executive organization and management, and executive institutional system must be taken in order to enhance the executiveness.
