On the emerging of economic globalization both with opportunity and challenging, the governments, enterprises and scholars have shown great concern to the electronic commerce for strengthening the international competitiveness and achieving better and faster development. Comparing with those in the developed countries, the Chinese companies bestowed neither massive electronic commerce implementation nor much success experience. The purpose of this study is to focus on the problems: How to achieve success? How to evaluate the implementation effect? And what factors affect the electronic commerce successful implementation? By means of literature reading and analysis, the study has created a model of successful implementation and evaluation of critical factors and explored the impact of key successful factors (customer, strategy, leader, and technology) and evaluation factors (quality of system, information and service) , which contributed their roles to the successful implementation of electronic commerce.In view of the relative survey, the study has developed the questionnaire to measure and express the successful implementation and key successful factors of electronic commerce. 140 companies in 29 provinces responded to the survey and the data was analyzed with the structural equation model. The following results were reported the most positive influence to the Chinese companies for their successful implementation of electronic commerce: leaders support, strategy implementation, technology stronghold, system and information quality, service and management sufficiency, etc.The major contribution and innovation are as followings:1. Integrating the critical successful factors with the evaluating factors, the study has established a comprehensive conception model to identify the effectiveness and efficiency for electronic commerce.2. Formulating the investigation into the empirical study, the report has shown satisfactory results based on the large amount of feedback of the survey and data analysis.3. Combining conception modal with structural equation model, the paper has been managed to improve and testify the hypotheses for the successful implementation of electronic commerce.
