Recently,Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Chinese companies with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is one of the critical issues on HRM theoretical research in China, Which is Chinese government and HRM practicers have payed attention to. however,the relative special research on HRM in the Chinese companies with FDI is rare. Moreover,most of them are single research pattern focus on HRM in the Chinese companies with FDI,and few are integrated with district HRM. In particular,the relative systematic research focus on HRM of Shenzhen and its FDI companies is more rare.On the basis of the literature review on the research related to the subject of this thesis,case study was developed after the field study and deep interview with the HRM principals and top managers in eight companies with FDI in Shenzhen. Two questionnaires had designed for the HRM principals and top managers in Shenzhen companies with FDI. They were given to two hundred and fifty HRM principals and top managers in Shenzhen companies with FDI.Firstly,according to the general appraisal to HRM and the description of HRM system included HR obtaining,retaining,development and harmonization,HRM actuality of Shenzhen companies with FDI investigated has been analysed roundly.Secondly,based on the problems of labor agency market,vacational training,industrial relations and tripartite mechanism , development of the immigrated workers , some suggestiones are provided for developing HRM of Shenzhen companies with FDI according to the roles of the government,society,employer, employee and so on.Finally,based on the problems of HRM internal environment,HR planning and obtaining,performance appraisal and management,compensation,welfare and motivation,training and development,industrial relations,organization culture and cross-culture management,some suggestiones are provided for improving HRM of Shenzhen companies with FDI according to HRM function.Maybe this thesis will be in favor of upgrading HRM of Shenzhen companies with FDI and increasing the attraction of Shenzhen to FDI.
