Study On Corporate Social Responsibility Of China In WTO Entry

Encircling harmoniousness, the doctoral dissertation is divided into 4 parts in study on CSR of Chinain WTO entry: first, briefly present the concept of CSR and its movement, then probe its connotationand kinetic mechanism of benefit making, after researching the status quo of CSR of China and findits problem by positivism, I trace back to finding its whys. In the end, I introduce my view ofconstructing CSR of China and draw the vista of its development in the future, thereout form acomplete logical route of analyzing CSR of China: prevue—theory—demonstration—method—vista.In the prevue part, introduce the studying progress of domestic and foreign after analyzing the conceptof CSR and its movement, subsequently present what is actually happening in foreign company.Through the study, we have a glance of CSR's theory and its practice.In the theoretical analysis part, first try to acquire the thinking-base of CSR theory through study onthe foreign Economics, Management, Law and Ethic, whereafter research the Chinese relative theorylike ZHOUYI, Say of LAO ZI and others, the SungMing NeoCoufucaianism and the managementconduct of latter-day's Chinese business-gangs that could bring out Chinese traditional culture andbusiness ethic. Based on the studies, I found the Chinese CSR's model which consider the concept of"mutual benefit, keep the law, benevolence, harmoniousness" as its core, and bring forward thestructure of "4×4" which includes 4-layer-factors lengthways that named "economic responsibility,legal responsibility, ethic responsibility and culture responsibility" and 4-dimensionality-factorsbreadthwise that named "rights egis responsibility, environment protecting responsibility, trustresponsibility and harmoniousness responsibility". Farther discuss the 4-class kinetic mechanism ofCSR benefit making which contains "the responsibility's profit model which based on the theory oftransaction costs, the CSR- Walras general equilibrium model which posts the effect of social welfare,the CSR operation limit model which based on the theory of entropy and the CSR input-output modelwhich based on the theory of Input and Output". hereto finished the basic theory study of CSR ofChina.In the empirical analysis part, fisrt of all, I discuss the necessarian of performing CSR of China inWTO entry, and design the estimate criterion of CSR of China that named "CECC(Criterion ofEstimating CSR of China)" based on the 4×4 responsibility model, CECC is more scientific andrighteous than before because of its precise classfying which depanded on the company's CSRsensitivity, I divide 4-type-industries by its properties which named "the industry of rights egissensitivity, of environment sensitivity, of trust sensitivity and general industry", and take the criterioninto investigating Chinese company by its difference in industry, scale, character and region, obtain amass of first-hand materials, as well as the opinion and acts of the government and theory department.Deep research these data, I find the problems in CSR of Chinese company, farther probe its whys.hereto finished the empirical study of the status quo of CSR of China.In the methodology part, based on those theoretical and empirical studies, I bring forward my viewpiont on constructing CSR of China from strategy and tactic. From strategy, legislation,government and enterprise should make some macro-planning, and in tactic, enterprises sholud designtheir CSR strategy, think over their operation not only on outer stakeholders, but also on the process ofmanagement based on value-chain. Closed the macro- and micro- analysis, I turn to mid-layer researchbased on industrial sensitivity. In the end, I cope with the SA8000 auditing which is hot topic now, andpresent some operation tacts. Hereto, set up an integrallty project from macro- mid- micro layer.In the end, based on those studies, I cast my view on the developing trend of CSR of China in thefuture, and thoroughly closed the whole doctoral dissertation.
