In the highly informational modern society, the competition of information is in an important position of enterprise competition. Collecting and analyzing really valuable information, that is competitive intelligence, and serving for enterprise has become a necessary and important work of every enterprise. Enterprise competitive intelligence system is a good tool to accomplish this work. Enterprise competitive intelligence collection, that is competitive intelligence retrieval and storage are the basis of enterprise competitive intelligence system. Competitive intelligence retrieval is an information retrieval problem in nature. Therefore, search engines are used to collect enterprise competitive intelligence on the internet as good information retrieval tools. General search engines face to a lot of "invisible" information, namely the invisible web, in which exists a great quantity high-qualitative and authoritative enterprise competitive intelligence. Therefore, the research of enterprise competitive intelligence collection could not break away from invisible web environment. This paper studies competitive intelligence, information retrieval, search engine and invisible web, these four relatively independent in surface but actually tied tightly problems in a whole frame. This paper proposes a multi-keyword combination weighted retrieval model, and discusses the application value of the model to enterprise competitive intelligence collection in visible and invisible web by theoretical analysis and practical analysis.
