Study On Logistics Industrial Organization Theory

The present theory of logistics industrial organization in China is not so good both at research direction and content system, and especially lacks in basic theory and attention of Chinese specific industrial background. And the theory can't accurately explain the development rule of logistics industry and can't direct the industry development. So, in order to fill up the blank of basic theory and to seek the development paths of logistics industry, this paper tries to construct a complete theoretical system of logistics industrial organization with Chinese characteristics.The paper includes two parts. The first part researches on the basic theory of logistics industrial organization, and the second part on the strategies of logistics industrial organization.The task of the first part is to explain the development rules of logistics industry accurately, as well as construct the basic theoretical platform of logistics industrial organization. (1) Redefine the concept of logistics and logistics industry, in order to offer the foundation of subsequent theoretical research. (2) Based on redefining and analyzing the connotation, essence, characteristics, types and influencing factors of logistics demand, set up two theoretical models to separately analysis the logistics demand economy of profit organization and non-profit organization, and analysis the price elasticity of demand and the methods of demand forecasting for two demand type: basic logistics demand and quality logistics demand, in order to construct complete logistics demand theory. (3)Based on redefining and analyzing the connotation, characteristics and influencing factors of logistics supply, set up theoretical models to measure the logistics supply economy and analysis the price elasticity of basic logistics supply and heterogeneous logistics supply, in order to construct complete logistics supply theory. (4) Put forward the concept of logistics service quality and evaluate the quality synthetically by establishing index system and AHP method, and then construct logistics equilibrium theory based on positioning logistics service quality.The task of the second part is to seek the development paths and its mechanism of logistics industry. (1) Through analyzing the structure, behavior, performance of logistics market and the relationship between them, seek the basic development paths of logistics industry from strategies and policies; (2)Analysis the connotation, the theoretical frame, the main body and the operating mechanism of logistics integration strategy, construct an integrated model of logistics market segmentation based on user's expectation of quality, and propose a new pricing method of logistics service based on sharing value, and at the same time, separately discuss the guidance and selection of industrial organization policy for the three strategies.
