| Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out clearly that to accelerate transforming economic development mode and optimize the industrial structure is an urgent, significant and strategic task concerned with the overall national economy. In the Twelfth Five-Year Plan,"scientific development" is a main subject of economic and social development, and its key link is to accelerate transforming economic development mode. International financial crisis has caused significant transformation of world economic pattern and international financial system, as a result, the mode of international labor division, global trading system, policy goal orientation and production mode have all undergone comprehensive restructure. Currently, world economy development slows down; international competition for resource, market and technology become increasingly fierce. Energy security, food security, climate change, shortage of resources and other global problems are outstanding. Therefore,"Transforming economic development mode and realizing scientific development" has become a strategic deployment and critical choice to solve periodical economic and social development problem.Circulation industry is an important carrier linking production with consumption, with characteristics of diversification, wide coverage and strong relevance etc. It's transformation of development mode contributes to inducing investment, driving consumption, promoting economic structural adjustment and transformation of economic development mode. Presently, the existing research achievements can't provide strong support for transformation of circulation industry development mode due to the ambiguity in the connotation of circulation industry and its development mode, single research perspective, and lacking in research of circulation theories. In reality, there are still certain fundamental problems in the process of China's circulation industry development, such as extensive pattern of development growth, low circulation efficiency and backward management tools and technique of circulation enterprise, which would hinder circulation industry and transformation of development mode. Therefore, research on transformation of circulation industry development mode in China is of great theoretical and practical significance.The thesis takes circulation industry as the research object, and defines commodity circulation as research coverage. Taking transformation of development mode as a key point, the thesis combines theoretical deduction, model construction, empirical research and statistical analysis methods, to discuss the necessity and feasibility of China's transformation of circulation industry development mode after clearly defining the connotation of circulation industry and development mode. Based on the comparative analysis at home and abroad, it elaborates on the following aspects comprehensively:periodical evaluation index system for transformation of circulation industry development mode, construction of content system, and analysis on the affecting factors. Finally, it puts forward corresponding policy and recommendations for transformation of circulation industry development mode.Firstly, the thesis confirms that China's transformation of circulation industry development mode has positive function on transformation of economic development mode from the perspective of structuralism unbalanced growth theory and endogenous growth theory. By exploring current situation of China's circulation industry development mode and evolution characteristics of transformation of circulation industry development mode in developed countries, it provides reference for China's transformation of circulation industry development mode. In the light of outstanding issues of China's agricultural products circulation and research on the circulation mode of agricultural products in some developed countries and regions, most areas of China belong to "East Asian circulation mode". However, based on the realities, China should learn from the modes of developed nations and regions by zones and stages. Secondly, integrating theory analysis with empirical analysis, the thesis establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system of transformation of circulation industry development mode, and tests on the stage of China's transformation of circulation industry development mode. Result shows that the effect of transformation of circulation industry development mode is not obvious because of factor input inefficiency and imperfect circulation system before2005. After2006, with sustained and rapid economic development and transformation of economic development mode, circulation industry development mode has also transformed obviously. But scoring results of comprehensive evaluation index system indicates that many critical problems remain unresolved at present; especially circulation cost and velocity have already become the main obstacles to the transformation of circulation industry development mode in China. On the basis of this, the thesis makes empirical research on factors affecting the transformation of circulation industry development mode. Results show that the general trend of transformation of circulation industry development mode is relatively stable in China, and improvement in human capital and circulation economic profit have made critical contribution to the transformation of circulation industry development mode. Nonetheless, imperfect circulation industry structure and high circulation cost have already become major constraint to China's transformation of circulation industry development mode. Such results show the necessity of transforming circulation industry development mode. Thirdly, based on the mechanism of promoting integration of industry chain by transforming circulation industry development mode, it indicates that transforming circulation industry development mode is feasible and effective. In such case, with the aims and principles of transformation of circulation industry development mode, the thesis establishes a system for China's transformation of circulation industry development mode, which includes eight aspects: circulation concept, circulation function, circulation mode, circulation structure, integration of urban&rural market, integration of domestic&foreign market, circulation efficiency, and circulation policy. Finally, it offers corresponding countermeasures and proposals on four aspects:the adjusting and optimizing of circulation industry structure, integration and innovation of circulation industry, human capital investment of the circulation industry, and entry and exit mechanism of circulation industry, to standardize China's transformation process of circulation industry development mode and provides essential guidance and policy basis for the specific practice of relevant departments.The thesis analyzes, transformation of circulation industry development mode thoroughly in connection with practical situation of transformation of economic development mode and the development of circulation industry. The innovative points are:construction of comprehensive evaluation index system, content system of transformation of circulation industry development mode, and empirical research on affecting factors for China's transformation of circulation industry development mode. Thesis innovations will provide support to decision on China's transformation of circulation industry development mode.
