In the era of knowledge economy the competitive environment has changed in many enterprises. The knowledge becomes the key factor over the other production factors (such as land, minerals, labor and capital), during social and economic development, knowledge becomes a major profit tools and measures for enterprises. Source of competitive advantage from the original physical form turned intangible knowledge. Knowledge play more and more important role in promoting social progress and economic development. At the same time, more and more enterprises recognize that:the external environment is complex and dynamics, an enterprise is hard to grasp market opportunities and win more market shares by his own internal resources integration. So they began to turn their attention outside, concerned about the cooperation between the upstream and downstream enterprises. Supply chain alliance is an effective means to integrate internal and external resources, which has become a main mode of the21st century enterprise operation and keeping competitive advantage. Supply chain alliance embodies the idea of integration strategy resources based on the core competence of enterprises. Enterprises of supply chain alliance collaborate on the core knowledge areas of their respective critical success factors based on the "win-win" thinking. The establishment of inter-organizational knowledge sharing and knowledge innovation has become an ideal choice.This paper summarizes the research of experts and scholars on the knowledge management of supply chain and supply chain alliance, then give the systematic study for the knowledge management of supply chain alliance. The details are:(1) Defined the meaning of knowledge management of supply chain alliance. Knowledge management of supply chain alliance is the management of knowledge resources of Union members within the enterprise and between enterprises, by using advanced information technology and system integration method, the process include:knowledge (including the explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge) acquisition, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and innovation. The purpose is to improve and enhance the entire supply chain alliance's ability to innovate, enhance the overall effectiveness of supply chain alliance.(2) Analyze the driving factors and internal mechanism of supply chain alliance formation. The analysis shows that the driving factors and internal mechanism of supply chain alliance formation is benefits distribution and collaboration among the enterprises. Which play an important role that effective implementation inter-organizational knowledge management of supply chain alliance to improve the core competitiveness.(3) Study the processes of inter-organizational knowledge management for supply chain alliance. The research shows coupling mechanism of knowledge management and supply chain management. This chapter constructs the process structure for knowledge acquisition, knowledge mining, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and innovation, knowledge protection.(4) Construct the platform for inter-organizational knowledge management of supply chain alliance. During the Intranet/Extranet/Internet environment, construct the technology platform of knowledge management for Supply Chain Alliance. The web-based knowledge management platform architecture has four layers:portal access layer, application service layer, data exchange layer, resource distribution layer. The key technologies include:knowledge portal, data mining, knowledge repository, knowledge map, knowledge communities etc.(5) Plan and implement the knowledge management for inter-organizational of supply chain alliance. Through the guidance of the soft system methodology, indicate the objectives of knowledge management for supply chain alliance, then analyze the knowledge needs, build the system model, programming and implementation, evaluation and improvement. Provide the integrated systems methodology for the implementation of knowledge management for supply chain alliance.(6) Evaluate the knowledge management of supply chain alliance. Consider the main factors of evaluation knowledge management of supply chain alliance. This chapter give six one-level indicates:profit ratio, customer value, knowledge management processes (including:knowledge acquisition capability, knowledge sharing and communication abilities, knowledge of the use level), the level of the stock of knowledge, knowledge management platform, the level of the knowledge communication, and twenty-six two-level indicates. Give the establishment of knowledge management for supply chain alliance performance evaluation system and use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of evaluation.(7) Case study. With XJPC implementation of knowledge management as a specific case study, XJPC is a supply chain alliance based on oil and gas exploration, development, production, storage, sales and other business as the core business. Use the integrated systems methodology to describe its implementation process, through empirical and applied research, and strive to achieve the integrity and unity of the research process, aim to contribute to the exploratory research on the empirical sense.
