With the constant development of economic globalization, the competition which enterprises are facing are no more regional but global. The expansion of the scope for competition promotes enterprise has a more distinctive competitive advantage in the market and irreplaceable competitiveness. With limited resources individual enterprises are at a loss of the development of economic globalization, and do not have large amounts of capital to build the supply chain system. The emergence of virtual supply chain, enable enterprises obtaining marketability, and accessing to global markets. Virtual supply chain can achieve the low-cost formation, professional and independent support center of network information technology relying on third-party, making up the dynamic supply chain quickly which operated fast and efficiently. As the current research in construction and management of virtual supply chain is limited, so this paper specially takes the operation and management of virtual supply chain in-depth study and exploration.The paper first discusses the problems existing in the supply chain running among enterprises, as well as the virtual supply chain research situation. Enterprises which take the supply chain operations can improve the enterprise's core competitiveness, response to the demands of market customers rapidly, carry out a good convergence of supply and demand effectively, promote the information resources sharing between enterprises, and reduce the costs.According to the characteristics of virtual supply chain, it expounds the building principles of a virtual supply chain, divides virtual supply chain process into four steps through using the systematic life-cycle theory, such as initiation, establishment, operation and dissolution. In according the above steps, it designs the build steps of virtual supply chain scientifically and rationally and proposes the establishment of a virtual supply chain partnerships timely.It discusses the management problems in virtual supply chain operation, which relates to customer management, logistics, information flow and funds flow management, organizational management, distribution of benefits management and risk management in virtual supply chain and establishment of a management system.It uses the fuzzy mathematic method to evaluate, research and analysis the overall operation of the virtual supply chain.
