Entrepreneurial Environment And The Ability To Integrate Resources Affect The Relationship Between Research On New Venture Performance

With entrepreneurial practices around the worldwide development, entrepreneurial research is being paid more attention by more and more researchers. The development of this field has become the fastest growing in recent years.However, entrepreneurial research is an emerging interdisciplinary study field. This kind of research, as the recent start, is studied by researchers from different academic fields, and from different theory and methods. There are quite different in the study border, study content and study paradigms, etc. Much important basic theory is still not being got to a unified understanding. Among them, the mechanism of the ability to integrate the business environment and resources impact on entrepreneurial performance is also an important topic for further study.This dissertation topic is come from a common phenomenon of the real world, that is, different new enterprises have prevalence of significant differences in performance. Recently, about the explanation of this phenomenon, there are two difference explanations, environmental differences determinism, and differences determinism of the resources and ability of entrepreneurial agents. But the former can not explain why in the same or similar entrepreneurial environment, between the new enterprises whose entrepreneurial projects are similar emergence significant performance differences. The prevalence significant difference of the performance of new enterprises between industries can not be effectively answered. At the same time, some researchers conclude that the entrepreneurial environment is regulating the ability to integrate resources for influence of new enterprises performance. But, the above inference has not been tested by using empirical research methods, not been further revealed mechanism and means how the entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial agent impact entrepreneurial performance. Therefore, they can not improve the entrepreneurial performance of entrepreneurs and the government's efforts to improve the business to provide more targeted and effective guidance.According to transaction cost theory, resource dependence theory, resource-based theory, entrepreneurship theory, theory of competitive advantage and other related principles, we believe that apart from the entrepreneurial environment for new enterprises have a direct impact on the path, there also exists the growth of new business logic, the environment - capabilities - performance. With the current stage in entrepreneurial management research on business environment, on resources and their ability to integrate entrepreneurial, and on entrepreneurial performance and other aspects. under the guidance of the systems thinking, our study will integrate outside the enterprise environment and ability to internal resources together, consider its impact on entrepreneurial performance, build a conceptual model of the three elements, including the entrepreneurial environment, the ability to integrate resources, and entrepreneurial performance. Then the model has been verified in an empirical test for the logical correctness of the theories mentioned.Through relevant literature of the entrepreneurial research summarized and analyzed, entrepreneurial environment is divided into three dimensions, dynamic, relaxed nature and complexity in this dissertation. Resource integration capability is divided into two dimensions, resources to build capacity and resource utilization capabilities. Entrepreneurial performance is divided into two dimensions, financial performance and growth performance. And on this basis, we constructed the structural equation model among the various elements. The sample selected Southwest 206 companies witch established in 3-42 months. Based on the analysis of scale reliability and validity, and verified by the factor analysis and structural equation model testing, the results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the entrepreneurial environment and the ability to integrate the source of resources, and a significant positive correlation between ability to integrate resources and the entrepreneurial performance, but not significant effect between the new entrepreneurial environment and a direct impact on business performance.Innovations in the dissertation are mainly the following three points:1,In this dissertation, we established the new enterprises performance impact relationship model between entrepreneurial environment and resource integration capability. Through empirical studies, in the current Chinese context, the effect of the entrepreneurial environment of the new enterprises performance is achieved, with the agency who has the ability to integrate resources.The results not only did help to quell speculation and controversy of the current entrepreneurial environment on the affect of the new ventures'performance between the'determinism' and 'regulation theory', but also reveals the influence of the mechanism and path. For further understanding of the entrepreneurial process and the law has much good theoretical sense. As studies carried out under the special Chinese scenario. not only can test the practicality of foreign entrepreneurial research methods and content in China, but also further enrich the contents of the global entrepreneurial research and theoretical results. While research could be a good practice guide on new ventures who want to enhance entrepreneurial performance, it should be a good practical reference value to help government departments how to develop more targeted policies and measures for further improvement the entrepreneurial environment.2. This dissertation from the perspective of systems theory, introduced external factors faced by entrepreneurial agents - the entrepreneurial environment, which as a pre-variables has been embedded into the three elements relationship model, studied that entrepreneurial environment how to impact on the ability of integration resources, then on entrepreneurial performance, and developed and improved the existing the research framework, about "two elements" and "environmental regulation"3. We used resource integration capability into the core elements of our theoretical model, on the basis of resources integration ability being divided the resources building capacity and resource utilization capability. We have further clarified the definition and content features of resources integrated ability, and prepared and tested questionnaire scale of resource integration capability.and used empirical research to verify the theoretical model, with a good theoretical sense.
