Study On The Theory And Method Of Recreational Farm

Recreational agriculture is a new industry which combines modern agriculture with tourism. Dating from 1830s, there had been agricultural tourism in Europe. After the middle period of 20th century, people started to develop recreational agriculture in Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan in China. At the arrival of the new century, except the traditional production function, the zoological education function and social function of agriculture have been increasingly outstanding. At present, in our country, agriculture is developing from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture; recreational agriculture has been developed from simple tourism to recreational orientation. Furthermore, by developing recreational agriculture, farmers can develop agricultural tourism, so as to enhance agricultural benefit, enlarge agricultural employment, increase farmer's income, improve rural environment, and effectively promote the development of the rural social economy and the socialist new rural construction.Recreational farm is the carrier of recreational agriculture. To study recreational agriculture, planning of the recreational farm should be discussed firstly. Nowadays, studies on recreational agriculture in our country are still weak which lack of the guide of systemized planning theory and methods. It will not only be the guide of recreational agriculture development in our country to enhance the study on the recreational farm planning, but also will be the reference in promoting the development of agriculture, exploiting agricultural new function, developing modern agriculture and constructing socialism new rural area in our country.Starting with the developing background and developing trend of recreational agriculture, this paper analyses and reflects the current studies and practices of recreational farm. Furthermore, the paper puts forward the basic theory of recreational farm planning, the planning of location selection and the planning methods of farm building in order to provide a basis for exploring recreational farm planning.The main contents of this paper can be divided into five sections:The first section is introduction. In this section the paper mainly illustrates the background and meaningful of choosing this topic, and defines the important concepts relative to recreational farm. Also, the paper introduces the frame and main contents of this paper.The second section is the Chapter 2. This section is about the analysis on the basic study. The paper summarizes systemically the studies and practices of recreational agriculture and recreational farm at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the paper does analysis and reflection on the recreational farm studies and practices.The third section is from Chapter 3 to Chapter 5. This is the main section of the paper. The section concludes the basic theory of recreational farm planning, the planning of location selection and the planning methods of farm building, discusses the theoretical basis, methods and issues of recreational farm planning, and puts forward the relevant index system.The forth section is the Chapter 6. By the case of the planning of zoological sightseeing agriculture park in LongHai City, the paper promotes the theory and the methods.The fifth section is the conclusion of the paper. It concludes the whole paper, and puts forward some constructive concludes and points out some problems which need to further study.
