The Recreational Resource Valuation Of Panjin Wetland Based On The Travel Cost Method

With the rise of tourism, the recreational value of tourist resources has been gradually recognized and taken seriously in recent years. The wetland tourism resources take a important role in it. It will bring considerable economic and comprehensive benefits if the wetland resources can be used by a correct and rational way. But random or uncontrolled development and use may lead to misallocation of resources, destruction of wetlands. Thus, we must take a correct and objective method just like qualitative and quantitative research to evaluate wetland tourism resources and recreational value. It has a crucial role and relationship to the sustainable development and exploitation of wetlands.This paper studies on the literature of the evaluation of tourism resources value and the wetland resources. Based on the study, the writer summarizes the definition and the value of wetland resource, expounds the great realistic meaning and function. At the same time, the writer takes a detailed description on the meaning of wetland recreational value and the evaluation method. The research focuses on the proposed travel cost method including the theoretical basis for the development process, the type of features, operation methods, advantages and disadvantages and so on. The article takes the wetland resources in Panjin city, Liaoning Province to be an example. Through a large number of researches and comparison, finally the wrier chooses travel cost method which is representation and reasonable to assess the wetland recreational resources value in Panjin city. Through SPSS statistical software, the writer establishes the regression equation to calculate the Panjin wetland recreation resources available use value in the year of 2013.The result is 4.8billion and 29 billion yuan. After that, I take a more specific analysis of the results obtained, and expound the deficiencies existed during the study. In addition, I personally went to Panjin City to site visits, and took a consultation to the tourists, responsible persons, the local tourism bureau responsible leaders. According to the related theories methods and previous experiences, the writer designed the questionnaire and analyzed the information from the survey. The questionnaire contains the basic situation of tourists, tourists pay ability, tourists sightseeing preference and so on. At last, the writer summarized the existing problems of Panjin wetland tourism in resource utilization, the protection of environment, the development of management, the infrastructure and so on. At the same time, the improvements and solutions are proposed.
